  1. I'm glad that the old TrackIR performance is back in place. I did adjust TrackIR axis curves to take the limits all the way out the the horizontal (left & right) limits. When I Pause TrackIR and when glancing around at the limits I see many many upper right messages about Head Tracking Disabled, or TrickIR Disconnected or whatever it says. These messages are false. WC
  2. Hmmm, last night on the latest v1.5.4 two groups of Paladins would not fire... The mission was carried over from v1.5.3. WC
  3. Armor will engage enemy a/c, planes and helicopters, parked and flying, while enemy armor is shooting at them. Need to be able to controll armor to engage other armor instead of low-priority a/c. WC
  4. The Part Of Coalition Out Of Zone condition is still broken at v1.5.4, when Late Activated groups are in the mission (this was a condition in the original report, as well). In this simple test mission, the Condition Part Of Coalition Out Of Zone is broken when there is a helicopter with Late Activation! If the helicopter is not late activated then the Part Of Coalition Out Of Zone condition works properly. WC
  5. yes, in your Saved Games folder in the DCS\Config folder, autoexec.cfg. WC
  6. Used to be the labels were always off if Visible Before Start, glad to see it fixed. WC
  7. I use Render3D=False on my server; it runs with an old GTX series 5xx card. This is the content of the ..\DCS\Config\autoexec.cfg - options.graphics.maxfps = 30 options.graphics.render3D = false if not net then net = {} end net.download_speed = 1024*1024 net.upload_speed = 256*1024 Back in the old v1 days I ran into a unit ceiling around 800, but not anymore. Some of my missions push that, even. WC
  8. Glad you got it resolved! WC
  9. Look at the armor groups in this mission that have a -1 -2 or higher in their name, like RDR VGrp10-1 Armor. These get 'spawned' using regular events. WC
  10. Visible Before Start (in v1.5.3) along with Late Activation will show the group in the mission. When the group is activated by an event, like with a Time More condition, the group will activate and head on its path. Before activation the group will not show its labels if Labels are On, nor will the group show in the F10 Map View and other units will not be aware of the group, but after activation then its labels will show and you will see it in F10 View. See the attached mission. WC
  11. I did the same last w/e. Removed the second GTX 980 Ti and get better clock freq and it runs comfortably cooler, and a solid 60 FPS. The second card went into my guest machine, replacing a GTX 680. WC
  12. Your settings screen looks to be from DCS v2? I'm still on v1.5. I was running SLI until last w/e when I pulled the second card out, because after an update the FPS went down and fluctuated from 47-54, don't know whether it was a graphics update or DCS that caused it, but I was done with having to reset the SLI profile after updates. The single card actually runs a bit better in clock freq and is in the mid 70°s instead of 80°s in SLI with the cards so close together. Yes, my frames are solid at 60 in DCS. I'll see what happens in the new version after v1.5 and 2.0 merge. No drops in FPS, I'm happy with it.
  13. Anybody know if there are mouse cursor settings in DCS? I want to reduce the size of the arrow because it blocks the Unit Type value in the Mission Editor. I've tried changing it in Windows but in the ME the shape always reverts back to the big blocky arrow (this is on a 4K monitor). WC
  14. Hi, Jacks, I'm running a GTX 980 Ti with a i7-6700K @ 4 GHz, no overclocking. DCS is running great at 60 FPS, the adapter is set to 60 Hz, running a Samsung 48" 4K TV JS9000. I have a second 22" monitor connected to this card, at 1680x1050, for TS and other stuff. WC
  15. Calibrate it in Windows first. Then go to DCS Options Controls and examine the axis settings for limits. WC
  16. Maybe the Coolie Hat Right switch is mapped to two or more functions... maybe that could prevent a Long press recognition?
  17. ahh, I think you covered all my questions in your second post, weird. WC
  18. Hmmm, I wish that year was not listed at all. For instance, I have a Vietnam era mission and the year is displayed as 2011. In this calendar I use for mission building, the important things are sun times and moon phases... LOL, there are some posts about missing leap days, maybe the calendar could span two years to include a leap year, with a plus of having a two-year campaign! :-)
  19. Could you possibly put the mission list for the server in alphabetical order? Like in the 'Choose Mission To Add' window... WC
  20. Make the HTML files for each controller, I saved mine to a \DCS\Profiles directory and can reload them. No TARGET here, everything is configured in DCS Options, Controls.
  21. This bothered me, too, when I started,,, ended up lots of times with a bunch of Markpoints at the same location. After a while you won't think about it. I did map the Flight, Mark and Mission selector to my KB's X, S & D keys, and the Steerpoint Up and Down to A & Z. WC
  22. Yes, go to the Mission Editor and look at the Briefing panel to change it. WC
  23. I have the Track IR Pause and Center commands mapped to my mouse side buttons, especially for CA. WC
