Well, I went flying last night and got only 47-55 FPS and ended up removing one of the GTX 980 Ti's to see how it would do, and it ran fine with the single card, back at 60 FPS and cooler, too. WC

I have the Samsung 48" JS9000 4K curved TV running off of 2x GTX 980 Tis with fan cooling in a mid-tower. I love the TV and get 60 FPS in SLI, but the fans spin up pretty high such that I turned the case away and put it behind the TV. If the infantry is alerted to enemy they will stay in place. I have set their ROE to hold and that has gotten them to continue on their pathway. MZ, I'm a bit surprised that you can move a group when every unit is unchecked. I've been messing around lately with small 3-unit groups where only unit 1 was checked to drive, and was getting frustrated because I would click on the tightly formed group and not be able to set a new path because I had focus on unit 2 or 3. I'll mess around some more with this... There sure seems to be a lot of tweaks to DCS recently and it wouldn't surprise me if some things work a little differently now. Another thing bugging me is Uncontrolled aircraft and helicopters sitting in a parking slot or FARP - I think a TC should be able to set paths and targets for these, too, but for instance AH-64s don't want to go anywhere. I'll put together a test mission. I'm still running v1.5. WC -

The Player Can Drive checkbox is for each unit in a group. Note some units can never be player driven and their checkbox will be greyed out, like tanker and generator trucks. If every unit in a group has the box unchecked then a Game Master and Tactical Commander will not be able to control the group. WC -

Hi, suggestion to color the threat circles by the Alarm State colors, green and red. When playing Tactical Commander in F10 View, I'd like to be able to see which of my air defense groups are in Alarm State Green by their Threat Circle color. WC

In the Slmod Chat Logs, all of the lines end in 'to all'. The example below is a text sent to Allies, not to All -- id = 3} said "can you see my chat or is it just going to my red side?" to all WC

That's a good question,,, C-130s don't, either. Check the Visible Before Start. An alternative to Late Activate is to use an Advanced Waypoint Action to Hold the Hummer at the very beginning of its pathing. Then release it with a Group Resume I think it is, with enough time for it to get onto the taxiway. WC -
There's no way to limit a group/unit to a particular CA role. WC

Yep, that is the Player Can Drive checkbox. When you join the mission, are you getting into a Tactical Commander slot like in the screen shot below? Everything else you showed looks good. WC

Take a look at the switch tables starting on Page 88 of the A-10C Flight Manual EN. I put that into Excel and pasted them up in front of my controls. I attached the .xlsx (Excel) file but you will need to change the extension back to .xlsx. WC DCS A-10C Switches 20151104.txt

Some of us have to work :-) Looks like the units may not have the Player Can Drive checkbox checked; you have to check for each unit in a group that you want to be drivable. You have to have the Game Commander or Tactical Commander role to control a group, then the right-hand box will show up so you can set waypoints. A JTAC role will let you get into a vehicle, but not control a group. Most of the missions on my Hollo Pointe server include Combined Arms slots, stop by. WC

Happy to report that Mav Ds can once again take out up to a TOR, SA-15. Mav Hs and Force Correlate isn't a good option any more since the range of the H is 3-5 miles (km?). Anyway, until not long ago, the TOR would fight back and knock down 1 or 2 Mavericks before being killed. I like to come in at ~20,000' on a little pitch down for speed, fire at max range and scoot. Stay above 17-16,000'. WC

Interesting... You are desiring only AIM-7s and or AIM-9s? What would be the corresponding loadout for a Su-27 and MiG-29, or, what Russian missiles should be left off along with the U.S. AIM-120's? Thanks, WC
