  1. Not in the ME, but you can combine the arguments in LUA script (i'm not the guy to tell you how though...). In the regular ME the Or and And could be broken up into different events, with further events to do the final logic. WC
  2. scottyman, look here at Wrecking Crew Projects for resources and example missions. See the Flag Guide on the Resources page. WC
  3. You can use Witchcraft to place static objects. I put SOs on the map and took screenshots so I'd have an image of each one to refer to, like this -- It took me 20 screenies to get them all. You should be able to find something that will work. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=126516&highlight=witchcraft WC
  4. Thanks, guys! Slowhand good to hear from you! --- The new mission called Simply War is available on the Wrecking Crew Projects site. The mission is designed around a Combined Arms armor battle. A special feature of the mission allows some Red and Blue armor groups to deploy MANPADS and RPG teams using the Radio system. Lots of aircraft slots to fly: Blue: A-10A/C F-15C, Ka-50, UH-1H; Red: Mig-21Bis, MiG-27, Su-25A/T The Red MiG-21s have nuclear bombs to drop on Blue forces, but first Red will need to kill off the formidable Blue air defense with AI and Client SEAD a/c. Enjoy! WC
  5. Time Since Flag is from the last time the flag went True. All of my missions use this to show a repeating message. Check out any one of them here -- Wrecking Crew Projects Check out the Back To School mission and the events where General Vaz Arrives and Lands. WC
  6. Welcome to the club! "I did WHAT??" :joystick:
  7. Can you log in to the DCS main site's e-shop? Looking at my account, I see all my modules, and when I click on the Details for any one I see the Product Key. You will need that Product Key to activate the new version. Download DCS World, the free engine, install it. Then dl the latest A-10C module. There is a Module Manager on the front page when you start up DCS World, start there. Do the same dl's for the new PC. You can de-activate the license on the older pc before activating the A-10C on the new one. WC
  8. That's a good observation. Maybe the attacker does not refresh its threat list often enough to meet your mission scenario, because the ground units are under cover. WC
  9. Hmmm, went to make this All Labels assignment addition to my second computer and the MOUSE_BTN_1 pre-assignment was not in that setup. Oh well, it is all working. WC
  10. v1.2.16.39472 In Options Controls for the F-15C for the 'All Labels' assignment, went to add a Warthog stick button assignment and the Modifier field was already populated with MOUSE_BTN_1. When I Cleared it the MOUSE_BTN_1 came back into the field. I had to add my Paddle_SW modifier and then clear that combination and then I was able to set up the assignment the way I wanted to. The other mappings above and below All Labels do not have this pre-assigned MOUSE_BTN_1, and I've not seen it elsewhere. WC
  11. In yesterday's test, the Hawks and helos continued to engage the groups. WC
  12. I was observing Blue air & ground vs Red ground, where the Red has many of these: three groups of ~7, driving down roads. But I have a lot of missions that should help to determine if I'm having an issue with Blue ground engaging Red air -- I will keep this thread in mind and let you know... my Vulcans And Sharks will be a good test. WC
  13. In my test yesterday, Blue ATGM Strykers did engage, so did Hawk a/c and Black Sharks and Hips. WC
  14. You turn on Flag 1 in two events. You don't need Flag 3 and maybe not Flag 2 since Flags 1, 2 and 3 all turn on on the same event. If you add a FARP right near the airbase and put the Mi-8 on that then the helicopter will take off right away instead of taxing to the runway like an airplane. I'm not getting the 'Roger' thing,,, not sure what that is about. WC
  15. That Continuous Action drives a message and it will just keep going... This ^^^ might be it. You don't need that Start_trigger because all flags are off at the start anyway. WC
  16. Hmm, the 2000 start time is what I'm using in the new Pointe & Shoot mission that will start here in the next hour or so. I'll see what my units do. The mission is mostly Red AI armor against Blue AI Strykers and AI Hawks. WC
  17. Thank you, HMA! --- Some work on the Wrecking Crew Projects -> DCS Missions page to announce -- The Highway mission now includes Client slots for Mi-8MTV2 and Hawk aircraft. The Huey pilots have been having a fun time for themselves shooting up the northern end of The Highway, and one of them suggested adding the Hip -- that thing is a flying tank! The Hawks look like fun. For The Highway they are initially loaded with a gun pod and two Sidewinders. There is another mission added for Blue F-15Cs called Kill Bombers. This pairs up F-15C Clients with up to three wingmen. Practice your air combat and use your wingmen to show you how it's done :) Many of the missions include Combined Arms. Tactical Commanders and JTACs can really stir up the pot in these missions to change the flow of the battle, and support or oppose the Client pilots. I'm controlling this Stealth and directing it to bomb a target -- Enjoy! WC
  18. Oh, hmmm, it is a minor issue, and my earlier description needs a better explanation. The pics are on the correct briefing screens in the mission. These are DCS screenshots that I'm working with. It is the way the ME screen is updated on the Red pic side when adding Blue pics. I added two Red pics. Then add two Blue pics. When I add the second Blue pic, the image of the Red pic changes from what was in the image box to the other Red pic. When I see this I'm wondering if the pics are all on the correct sides and end up spending more time than necessary looking at it. WC
  19. v1.2.16.39472 When adding two pictures to the Blue side in the Briefing screen the second pic will appear on the Red side. I'd already had two pics added to Red, then I added two to Blue. WC
  20. Thanks, folks! --- A fun mission was added for A-10Cs -- BeachAV8R's Grad Ex. This mission is the 'final', following a ten part tutorial of the A-10C systems, published in PC Pilot magazine. The Grad Ex mission and the article by BeachAV8R can be found in Issue #89: http://www.pcpilot.net/view_issue.asp?ID=5000 Wrecking Crew Projects WC
  21. Hello, DCS enthusiasts, I am introducing my new Wrecking Crew Projects site that has links to the missions that have run on the Hollo Pointe server over the years, as well as mission design resources. These missions are available for your download and modification, in any way. You may host the missions publicly. Enjoy! These DCS World missions are designed for multiplayer, and will reload at the conclusion. Most missions are Blue Air COOP types, while there are some that offer Air H2H. The majority of missions have the A-10C, as that is what I fly the most, and many include the Su-25A/T, the F-15C, A-10A, as well as other Russian jet a/c. Combined Arms is featured in many missions and these tend to include opponent Blue & Red roles. All of these missions can be played in single player; they just won't reload at the end. There is also a five-mission campaign, called !S'paign -- this is a Blue vs Red H2H battle across the southern Caucasus/Georgia map. Depending the outcome of the middle three missions in this campaign, the battle zone will move east or west across the map. Missions are mixed as for F10 views, such as All, Allied Only, Fog Of War; Labels may be Optional or Off. You may edit/customize any mission to your preference to switch views, Labels, etc. Look under the hood with the Mission Editor to see how everything works. Many thanks go to the world of DCS World people who have helped in one way or another to help me make these missions fun and challenging. A big credit goes to Grimes here at DCS Forums for Mist, because without that many of my mission ideas and features would not be possible. 22. A Uragan in a Red group will disable that group's Player Can Drive for all units in the group. Create a Russian Artillery group with Uragan's as the first three of seven or so. Player Can Drive is greyed out. Change the Uragans to Grads and all units in the group will have Player Can Drive available. WC
  23. Maybe the multiple a/c deactivation is not an issue. Four Tu-95s land at KC, as well as four TU-142s. I changed the four Tu-142s Landing waypoint to Fly Over. This time one Tu-95 had landed and after about 30 minutes, as two more Tu-95s were taxing to park, all three disappeared. A bit later the Tu-142s flew in and maybe it was another 30 minutes after the first Tu-142 landed, and as two more were taxing to park, all three of these a/c disappeared at the same time. At least the mission ran all the way through to its 2 1/4 hour timeout. Testing continues. WC
  24. I've seen this line frequently in the DCS.log following a crash with this mission -- 01214.835 ERROR GRAPHICSXP: ModelManager: can't find ATMZ-5_P_1 There is no ATMZ-5 in the mission as a unit in a group or as a static object. I searched the 'mission' file and found no instance of 'ATMZ-5' or '5_P_1' or other snippets. Why would the log contain a reference to something not in the mission? In another test the mission got through the 2 hour mark but right around the typical crash time (~0855 mission time, after a 0700 start) there was a Tu-95 landed and parked at KC. Two Tu-142s had landed and were taxing while another Tu-142 was on approach. All these a/c are in their own group of one. There is no event associated with any of these a/c. Suddenly, all four of these heavy bombers disappeared from the mission. It was like the Tu-95 was auto-deactivated after 30 minutes and that took out the others bombers nearby. Is that strange, or what? WC
