They don't recommend doing this, But I dragged and dropped mine in when I purchased a new Module and it worked fine upon loading DCS World.

Does sound like Video issue. Think He should try going back on ver. of the Video Cards driver? and insure it is not the Beta Ver.

4Gigs of Ram is unusual unless it is a laptop. U are going to add more Ram to that right? 8 will get U up and going fine with the rest of Ur specs. U do know this I am sure from the requirements page. comment is more for new users unaware of the requirements but like looking over the forums before purchasing, as I did to insure I wasn't purchasing a lemon. This is true for "Todays" Technology. That tech. was created in the late 90's, Unfortunately "Software" did not keep up and can little use the advantages of dual cards. especially a DirectX9 Title.

Not a programmer. It seems with new technology you could plug the info. into a new C++ or what ever and have it update the terrain graphics. I guess tech. hasn't gotten there yet? Can't put raw data into a program so it can update the code to newer specifications? Would be a good program to invent.

SLi in this Software has been beat to death. No one has had success with SLi sense I joined the Forum. I remember a lot of talk about it as the Software received a Graphics update, but unfortunately it didn't change anything. This is a DirectX 9 Title, it wasn't optimized for SLi. Do a search in the Forum U will see all the post on the subject and no good results. I do remember one post a user stated He increased FPS but we thought it just a fluke or related to something else in his configuration. As the Software starts up the calibration of the Fraps measuring engine is gearing up, that 120FPS isn't accurate it is just the software finding the mean in the equation.

Did U delete saved games folder as a attempt to fix this? Some have had success in this issue with it.

You may not like this but from Your system specs. I would try lowering the resolution next. Current setting - Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz) The mobile chip and graphics might be struggling to keep up. the 2.2g Mobile Processor is a bit low. and the graphics card is under the requirements. I understand You had no issue before. The bug fixes might have taken Your system over the top, to rule this out install the older ver. to see if the issue goes away. Prior to this making sure there are no items running in the background is key to this type of issue also.

Although I understand U had no stutter before the reinstall. It would help to know the specs of the machine in question.

There was an issue with GPU dropping their instructions and having to redraw it to the monitor. I can't remember what it is called. Microsoft added code to keep the GPU from Black Screening. But did little to correct the real problem. Someone else might remember the name of the issue? The fact that U drop to zero suggests that this is the problem U are having. (Hypothesis of course).

Remember we are using a DirectX9 Software Title. The increases to other modern Sims should be taken with a grain of salt (as it were). Comparing apples to oranges has been beat to death on this forum. in depth testing can be found with a search in the initial forum page.

Couldn't Resist the "Summer Sale". I purchased 2 copies of the A10C for MY Brother n'Law. Who is a college educated Logistics Safety Manager. How is FRAPS when it comes to benchmarking a DX9 software title? I did look in the support page to see but there was no information pertaining to DX9. Change logs mention DX10. I should think it would matter what the software is "Benchmarking" between the different DX offerings?

That error has been fixed in DCS World. One would assume the next update to FC3 should have the same script corrected. Or should that be a (?) instead.
