  1. That image is outstanding!!!!!!!!! In game?
  2. And should there be a crash upon landing a cut seen to the pilot being hoisted into the rescue chopper would be pretty immersive.
  3. Try Deleting this file it will be rewritten upon your next start up of the software. 'Saved Games': "C:\Users\ikilby\Saved Games"
  4. Good Informative input on a topic I believe to be your forte. +1 rep. inbound.
  5. This sounds like a voltage issue. Like having your USB touching a screw on the motherboard causing the system to short out. Software cant reboot a PC only Electrical issue can do that. (Crash type of Reboot)
  6. Good Eye Eagle. I believe swooped right down to the issue. IMHO that is.
  7. I agree Howie. I am running DCS A10c/FC3 and a few other modules on an i7 920 at its default clock speed of 2.x and see 60 FPS with an Nvidia 760 4Gig card. So Video card is more important than CPU as long as the CPU is modern and upper class technology.
  8. Just thinking out loud. It would seem that the software is loading the first attempt to run the Sim. from saved games folder. Then after crashing or exiting it loads from the configuration from the user lau.? (maybe?) So that if you delete the saved games folder upon the next start of the Sim. it will be forced to load the user lau. and keep the settings from there from then on?
  9. Yes Bee. This is very true. Our point is to get the best graphics experience with the cards though. Put the settings at their most optimal and enjoy a graphics experience based on our purchase. Almost Any 2Gigabyte card manufactured of late will get you there. But I am attempting to ride in a Bentley instead of a Honda.
  10. Nice work BBQ. I just purchased the Nvidia 760 4Gig. ver. So let's see how she cooks now. Rep. inbound for the work you put in you deserve it.
  11. Try deleting the saved game folder and/or the config folder so that the sim can rebuild upon the next start up of the software. I recall this issue specifically being addressed in one of the patches.
  12. The last patch fixed the G940 Force Feed Back error. are you completely up to date?
  13. Some have found it necessary to delete the DCS Config folder, that gets re written upon the next start up of the sim. also the saved game folder.
  14. And just were have you been lately? Big sticky http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=121146
  15. I wanted to get inspector from the source (Nvidias' official site) but they were not making it available anymore as no search results were rendered upon a request. But Guru3d is a trusted site. I just don't know if the software is workable with the new drivers and cards anymore. so at your own risk unless you have an older card and driver ver. Guru3d has them here. http://www.guru3d.com/files_get/nvidia_inspector_download,1.html
  16. Some have had to run update dcs world from the start menu to avoid this error. it may work for you too.
  17. The exe and the bins just need to be in the same folder when you install the sim. You can and should delete the old ver. you have on your system. Hope I am understanding you right.
  18. You must reset the Page File (Windows Cache) back to "System Controlled" C++ runs calls based on having it available at its default level. With out it C++ throws out the call in an infinite loop. (laymen's terms)
  19. Wasn't a stack overflow related to changing the caching system of Windows? Like deleting caching or setting a limit by doubling the Ram and entering it as the limit for your cache file?
  20. There were problems with the patch needing to reinstall the Runtimes. Try that and let us know.
  21. You seem knowledgeable enough, but I must ask, You have clicked the "Use these settings for all modes button didn't you?
  22. You use this file to increase the draw distance to a higher level? So this file doesn't have a negative impact on FPSs.? Why wasn't this added to the update in DCS?
  23. Do you have USB devices plugged into your system? If so try unplugging all that you do not need. ie. printers, any gaming devices that are not used for DCS. and what HOTAS are you using?
  24. That's one potential explanation among many others.
