I must admit I also love the cockpit of the Viper over the Hornet (and the Hornet is my favourite fighter for many years), especially in DCS with the coloured MFDs of the Viper. However when I saw the video from the simulator of the new F-16V Block 70 then I totally felt in love with this amazing cockpit. Even there is a very small hope, but when we ever get a F-16V Block 70 in DCS, then I will build a home cockpit [emoji16][emoji28]

Mir scheint das ein guter und vernünftiger Kompromiss zu sein anstatt stur auf eine bestimmte Tranche zu setzen. Ich freue mich echt sehr auf den Eufi und wird wohl das modernste Modul zu werden!

I sent a message to Baltic Dragon some time ago and asked him for e training campaign where we can learn the systems (Radar, Datalink, Pods etc) as well as all the diferent type of weapons in a very exciting environment. Luckly, he also had the intention doing such a campaign in the near future

Könnte mir gut vorstellen, dass von Seiten Winwing oder Virpil noch was zum Apache kommen wird. Denke, das wird ja DER wohl meist erwartete Heli sein bei DCS [emoji28][emoji6]

A new and much improved ATC (together with improved radio for AWACS, tankers and JTAC) will be developed after improved ATC for the super carrier. As already mentioned above there is still no ETA, so I wouldn‘t expect new airfield ATC and radio before 2022, maybe rather in 2023.

Spannend meinte ich im negativen Sinne. Entweder ist das eine Zwischenlösung seitens HB bis ED diese Luftverwirbelung implementiert hat oder die arbeiten tatsächlich parallel an solchen Funktionen, was für mich aber keinen Sinn ergibt. Das wäre eine Verschwendung an Entwickler Ressourcen, welche man für anderes hätte verwenden können.

Finde ich spannend, dass HB und ED ihre eigene Carrier Ops entwickeln. Dachte stets, da wird man gegenseitig darauf zugreifen können um Entwickler Ressourcen zu sparen. Nun bin ich darauf gespannt, wie EDs Antwort aussehen wird und wann es soweit sein wird (ist ziemlich ruhig geworden, auch was die Physik der Luftbetankung bei Probe & Drogue betrifft)

Unglaublich, was HB mit dem heutigen Update alles vollbracht hat!!

Sehe ich das richtig, dass der “burble“ Effekt (Luftverwirbelung beim Flugzeugträger) vorerst nur der Tomcat vorbehalten ist?

Der AH-64 Apache war ja das geheime Projekt, über welches uns ED erst Ende 2020 eingeweiht hat. Die waren da schon längst an der Entwicklung. Ich denke, die Hornet und Viper haben ED viel an Know How beschert und der Apache hat da garantiert davon profitiert. Bin aber auch sehr erstaunt, dass bereits Ende Sommer der Apache das Licht von DCS World erblickt. Auch wenn Hubschrauber nicht so meins sind, den Apache werde ich mir garantiert näher anschauen. Freue mich sehr auf diese Legende!
