I have a question. With the new 3D loads layout in the Editor, I can't find where to change the color scheme of the plane. Somebody point me to it? Thanks.

Same here with an upgrade. The game just loads so much faster than before, so it more fun to get started than it used to be. Seemed like I had to wait forever for the game to start. Pretty much maxed the graphics too. Have a GeForce 2080.

The thing with the Durandal was that it doesn't just crater runways like a regular bomb. Craters can be fixed up fairly quickly. The Durandal actually heaves up large slabs of concrete, completely messing up that area. Probably need mudjacking to fix it...

Also, the aggressor A-4s probably had an extra 4,000 lbs of thrust in their engines.

In the old "Flight of the Intruder" sim you could get away with rocket pods for air-to-air. I used to piss off my real pilot friends by split-essing from 10,000 ft onto the carrier deck. Nowadays with AOA actually modelled, no way to get away with that anymore.

Finally got my new machine. Nice to max the graphics settings. I tried the A out for the first time last week. Launched from the cat and it immediately rolled right and into the drink. Gotta be more careful, I guess. Got spoiled by the B.

I can't wait to see videos of Apache vs Hind dogfights.

I actually tried that and they didn't work for some reason.

It's been nice cranking up the graphics too. Only downside is that I lost all my control setups. Gotta re-do all of them one by one.

Has load time improved since the last patch? I was out awhile when my last computer died. I did get a fairly high-end Alienware and the game moves along rather quickly now. Much more fun to play.

Lomac here, as well as the Flanker sim before it. The Flanker sim always wowed me back then. Directors on the ships would track their targets, which was a first for me.

When I mark a forum as read, I wish it would mark all the subforums read like the old forum did.

Currently on hold. Made the mistake of using decal solvent and they curled the decals up so tightly as to be unusable. With the naked eye, the paint doesn't look quite so patchy. Camera seems to bring that out. Need to find more.

A very interesting part of Shattered Sword is in the appendix. The part about an actual Japanese invasion of the island. They basically didn't bring enough troops for the job, and IJN doctrine made any ship to shore support problematic. They likely would have been beaten off.

While waiting for the new machine, I got mine in the paint shop, at least.

Anything from the '50s will have me on board. As mentioned, lots of countries flew the F. The G was popular too.

I will. My last machine was 7 years old and held up well with DCS. Should load and run must faster now.

I know... I can get back to some model building anyway. Working on an ancient AMT 1/72 F-14 as it is. Thanks for what you're doing Mike. I've loved your modules, even if I haven't mastered them yet. I've got two games of Matrix's War in the Pacific going, one against an Austrian opponent, which are on hold also.

I'm actually building a 1/72 kit with VF-1 markings. Nothing else to do, since my computer's dead.

Sucks. My computer decided to die on Thursday. Power box failed. The repair people put a new one it and it lit the graphics card on fire and fried everything else. New good Alienware on the way, but won't arrive until Dec 30. Don't know what I'll do with myself 'til then. Really, really wanted to abuse the -A. At least it'll fly better with the new machine.

Yeah, my mistake. My eyes skipped over the first part down to "24/09/2020" :)
