Copy of my posting in the F-14 section: Hi, a weird problem of which I´m not sure it´s a Tomcat problem, but as I only have it in the F-14 here it is: After yesterdays patch I was flying and everything was allright, today (before today´s hotfix!) suddenly all my mappings of my Warthog (stick only, throttle is ok) are messed up, without me changing or doing anything. For example trim isn´t mapped at all anymore and everything else is just random stuff all over the place. Only the Tomcat seems to have that problem. Nothing too wild as I will just remap it, but I thought I´d mention it. edit: now that I´ve wrote it: What I did before was to update VAICOM Pro, which said that the AIRIO-package is now supported. Will post this also in the VAICOM thread, maybe something went wrong there although I don´t know if that could have any influence.

I also have that issue, but after exiting from SP. Black screen, can´t even get the taskmanager "in front", have to ctrl-alt-del and then select restart from that screen. My dcs.log attached, but I also didn´t see any error messages at the end. dcslog.zip

Hey folks, is there some kind of table somewhere to quickly figure out my maximum fuel amount for carrier landings for given combinations of playload? Or do I have to look for the weight of the respective weapons somewhere and add it all together one by one?

For me it was just a matter of a few minutes. I was flying, checked the forums between two flights, saw the patch was out and updated, continued flying and immediately thought that something was changed. Maybe if nothing changed with the flight model it has indeed something to do with performance, although that wasn´t bad before. But maybe in those few minutes some muscle-memory stuff or whatever kicked in, who knows.

Well, either something happened with me while downloading the patch today, or the Tomcat is a lot more stable now. Everything seems "easier" now, but also a bit more "sterile" if you pardon my unprofessional language

I have high hopes for the Vaicom RIO extension. I hope it will be available shortly after release

Could be that I was that friendly Hornet, as that´s pretty much what happened to me. I was pretty surprised when I suddenly was killed for "friendly fire while flying an IFF equipped..." I saw the contact on the SA page as identified hostile by me as well as by a donor if I already understand the symbology right. Also was a diamond in the hud. edit: just saw "1 p.m.", so it wasn´t me, but I can confirm this problem. edit2: should´ve watched the video to see it wasn´t me lol

If the finger isn´t in there and no polaroid for the RIO that saves the pictures as screenshots I will be a tiny bit disappointed

First, somebody who wants to kill kills. The victim won´t care what the tool was. Second, yes, more guns for law abiding citizens will get less of them killed by criminal´s guns. The second kind has them anyways. But as Cobra wished, let´s better speculate about the release date. None of us will convince the other one of his opinion ;-)

Ah, the US-gunnut thing again... I remember running a call where a three year old ran over his 5 year old brother and killed him with a forklift. Dad let them play at the construction site... Car-crazy Germans... Just wasn´t in the news all over the place... Or the 15 month old girl I lost to the Reaper a few days before christmas because the stupid grownups gave her a grape they didn´t cut and the girl choked to death on it. And I could go on and on after 20 years as a paramedic. Irresponsible grownups get kids killed, everywhere and all the time, guns or not... Hell, when I grew up there wasn´t a law for gun safes here either, my Dad´s stuff was hanging on the wardrobe. Bad parenting and bad training are the issue, as Immel said.

I´ve always felt a lot "safer" carrying the 1911 in condition one then the Glock or now the P229, because to go boom there´s the safety, the grip safety and the trigger, all three require movement in different directions. But everyone´s mileage varies, and that´s a good thing. When I got a 1911 in my hands for the first time i knew that I had "arrived" pistol-wise edit: But as I live in a mmmmhhh, only relatively free country I can only carry as "you never know what happens" while hunting. Everyday carry might be something else, weight- and magsize-wise Lol, well, let´s talk about what we would like to carry as a backup if we were naval aviators :D

I got rid of the Glock 19 Tupperware and got a P229 instead. A lot happier with that. But as I´m ummhh rather oldskool lol nothing beats my 1911 :thumbup: Went through USP and USP Expert and HK45, but as good as they technically are, I never got warm with plastic guns...

With this community and Heatblur´s history of teasing and hidden messages I´m indeed surprised that nobody has found out yet where on what map that target is, what kind of building it is in real life and nobody has deciphered the blurred parts yet, because maybe the street adress or the zip-code of the target could give a hint to the release date :matrix: :D

+1 I´ve thought maybe a good solution would be to make it work like the flashlight, make the body transparent in an area around the mouspointer like the lightcircle of the flashlight.

The only thing it did to me was change the order/numbering of my TM MFD Cougars. Had to put them on the desk in another way as I don´t know how to change that lol

Everything seems to be fine here (Warthog), quickly checked F18, Harrier, Huey and Spit. But I haven´t touched anything since the last patch. Did you guys maybe change any mappings after the last patch messed it up?

I´ve also been waiting the whole day for the announced hotfix :(

I have the afternoon off, but unfortunately the "New KO" is offline. But thanks anyways for bringing it back ! Missed it !
