have you tried 11.6 drivers or even softTH to get it working?

I gave up trying to fix it and re-installed 1.1.1.1 seemed ok when I did a quick test. Pretty frustrating not knowing what caused it as its a PITA trying to learn it when these things happen.

Just did the training mission on my sons computer that is running 1.0.0.9, worked perfectly albeit without my hotas in my pit. Am I the only one to have probs with 1.1.1.1 training? Cant really think of anything I have done that would break comms in training yet still works in missions.

ok, turned off "easy comms" and still the same. Brings up the radio menu but will not accept any FKeys as input. comms work fine in normal missions, this is very frustrating!

Having a strange problem in 1.1.1.1 where once I am instructed to contact ATC I get the comms menu up but I cannot select F5 for ATC (or anything else). I have to hit ESC to remove the comms menu. any idea's? also, is there any way to ask the trainer to repeat the last set of instructions? Sometimes when I'm busy trying to figure stuff out the subtitles disappear and I end up flying around lost.

I'd try a 3 point cap model if you find the clip troublesome. I actually have the reverse of your problem, black shark works great but a10 doesnt track so well. Alot of my problems are due to my camera being to close and high above my head. I use a ps3 eye camera.

no, I tried softth but had constant crashing, now just use eyefinity. I use a keyboard shortcut to turn it on before playing the game, then off after. Very simple and works great. I get around 30fps+ with everything maxed out using 6950+2500k. ps: there is a new version of softth witch works now but I'm happy with eyefinity for now.

I run the same screen setup and use fullscreen, do you have to use window for any particular reason? At this stage of the game I'd be holding off for the new stuff like 7xxx or whatever is coming from nvidia. ATI certainly have the edge on multi-monitor setup.

so is this stand-alone or has to be used as part of that multi-file edit you posted before?

ok, filled it out. I've gone back to 11.6 driver as anything newer results in the blobs. Pretty annoying, but as you say, if you dont play BF3 etc then you get no love!

yeah, unfortunately the HAT is 8 way. Not sure if you can map the diagonal to do two simultaneous keypresses?

I did a re-install of my system and found for my x52 I now have 2x collective entries in options. Seem to remember someone mentioning the same thing before. Anyway, one of them doesnt work but the other one does. This is something new for 1.1.1.1

if you have headtracking just use the HMS for fast slewing

no probs, I edited the things I wanted. Wow, VAC is so good! makes the whole experience much more enjoyable! cheers

ZQuickSilverZ, I'll checkout Game Commander, so far pretty impressed with VAC, but I do agrea the GUI is clunky! Much easier and faster to use notepad++ to edit the xml directly. cheers edit: tried to find game commander, the official website no longer exists so looks like its long dead.

ok, the way I look at it is pressing the "VAC" listen key is like hitting the mic switch, I dont want to have to press another key to open the "comms" or say something like "open comms" to get the menu to accept my VAC command. maybe you can offer a profile that does either way? cheers

looks interesting, thanks! I've just started looking at VAC. The profile for BS2 seems to be missing the initial "\" to bring up the comms menu for the commands, whats the go with that?

If your looking at a dell that runs higher then 1080p then you might want something in the league of ATI6950 or better. Otherwise, as cichlidfan said, it depends on the rest of the rig. I'd guess if your dropping coin on a 27"er then your PC must be a good one?
