  1. Maybe grab Voice Attack and setup macros to do those repetitive things? just say "set autorange" or "set george tads video" and voila, it presses the buttons for you Bailey already did a profile for voice attack that does all sorts of cool stuff.
  2. Just thought I'd update my findings, I removed the export lua, did a repair. I also change my button setup so only have TX1 active and set everything easy comms. Now I have no issue with the ah64 and everything seems to be working so much better. Hopefully at some point we do not have to run easy comms as norm just doesnt seem to work for me.
  3. I wondered about this, watching casmo https://youtu.be/HC1B8oVBT_c?t=235 it looks to me like it is correct as is and the way he is using it. Keen to see the official response
  4. Yep, I was curious why it was done this way but not hard to work around it
  5. good to know, your 3Dmigoto is a "must have" mod for VR!
  6. Thanks everyone, I ended up doing a shift mode for my stick to assign different virtual buttons for the hat when using the same modifier to get around this problem. I had been using xbox for TEDAC but much prefer hands on the sticks so having to move controls around. Not sure why those few george commands are not just in the PLT/CPG respectively as there are already duplicated george commands in the PLT and CPG as it is. Probably some technical reason I guess.. spike-ah64.pdf
  7. Hi Have been super happy with the collective and having a great time in the apache. One problem I have found is with the Dial axis on the right hand side of the head unit. I have it setup for the FLIR brightness and it appears the dial has a built in curve, it move really fast on the boundaries and slow in the centre. Can be hard to get fine adjustment to the control. I have flashed the latest profile and in the configurator it looks like there are no curve but it definately is not linear. The throttle works perfect linear so I'm confused why the dial has this issue. cheers
  8. Hi I have the george udlr on a 4 way hat. This works great. However, if in the CPG config I use a modifier and try to use that 4 way hat it can only trigger george commands even tho there are different binds on the CPG config ie Sight select. Is this a bug or is there a work around george wont steal a hat for himself only and I can use a modifier to get more buttons on my stick.
  9. Great to hear the changes helped. I meant to setup smoke to aid easy RTB and yes, its a big smoke on the pad, I havnt fixed it yet
  10. I use a Rift cv1 I've been super happy with the mod, I would be surprised if its not better for you also
  11. I use the mod above that lefuneste01 posted to change the size of NVG so I can peek under them to see the MPD's. Its a great mod that has many cool functions plus it will probably make your quest 2 get better framerate! Try the openxr variant with the loader.
  12. yes it will display for 60 seconds now. I use VR so that gives me time to punch it in!
  13. I figured out an edit for CTLD so it displays as required for the KU. I simplified the text message so its less cluttered. Persian Gulf - Nightmoves.miz
  14. Ah yeah, its a sticky FARP that one... haha I hope they sort out that problem, I find anytime taking off from invisible FARP I have to be super careful not to get a dynamic rollover. I'm sure that is a bug and not realistic.
  15. yep ok, CTLD does give you 10 digits. as you say drop the last digit and its resolution is to ten meters, that is fine for getting the MSL heading to the TGT. I'll have a look in the script and see if can change it to 8 digits. Interesting you are getting a crash, I was having some problems before the latest OB I reported and they fixed something internally, was an issue when doing a CAQ
  16. I'm not sure how to correct that, is it an issue or are the targets just in a different 100,000-meter square identification zone?
  17. I looked it up and your correct, IR and Laser point. Sorry for the confusion "The script allows a JTAC to mark and hold an IR and Laser point on a target allowing TGP's to lock onto the lase and ease of target location using NV Goggles."
  18. In NVG, try that mission I created, its night and all JTAC designated targets. Its so cool doing night ops in this chopper!
  19. What would be the best way when in a stable hover at 0 knots to yaw 90 degrees from the current heading with ATT engaged? I find if I just use rudders I'm really fighting the SAS but if I press and hold trim it can work sometimes but others gets a bit out of control..??
  20. Ive found doing a CAQ drop with the cursor the most reliable way or enter the coords the JTAC gives you and CAQ that. I get a lot of misses when not having acquisition point designated or you are masked behind terrain otherwise. Attached is a little practice mission that helped me learn the process Persian Gulf - Nightmoves.miz
  21. thanks everyone, guess I'll wait for fix to ACM. cheers
  22. I watched casmo vid about night missions and realised that in my setup in VR the actual brightness on the PNVS changes as I look up/down. If I look up it goes super bright and conversely looking down brightness so low It can be hard to see it anymore. In casmo video it doesnt appear to be doing that. Am I being a numbty or is something with my setup or VR? (excuse the mobile phone video) https://imgur.com/a/FBrd8cA
  23. I flew a few missions last night and occasionally when I have ATT engaged and I want to adjust slightly if I press the trim button again the chopper goes crazy and I have to quickly hit the trim reset and try not to crash. It doesn't do it all the time so wondering if its something specific to my controls but definitely some behavior it was not doing previously.
  24. The only feedback from me is that when doing them SP, you just cant rely on the rest of the AI flight to participate and share the load of engaging all those targets. It would be great if possible to spawn a FARP so its not a long haul back to resupply. This is something they do well in the rotorops missions. Did mission 2 last night, dont know how long it took but it was a while! Wingmen useless again, at least they did not die this time! Enjoyed doing it and completed without drama. I normally have spotify playing music when flying so was surprised you had music in the mission..
  25. Completed the first mission SP, fantastic! Took about 1.5h as I had to rearm. My AI wingmen were useless as usual and either all got taken out or they ran into each other, not sure! Look forward to mission two tomorrow! thanks again!
