  1. That would be ideal
  2. If I had my dream F/A-18 module we'd get a block 1 Super bug since it I believe avionics wise it would be identical to what we have. Then the most high tech Hornet we could get and possibly the F Then a storm bird C, and maybe an A. I don't think all that is likely to happen so at least the C lot 20 we have, a block 1 super bug and a more advanced version. As I'm thinking the block 1 super bug would basically be our current Hornet with a different flight model
  3. The default radius should be based on a realistic CEP for the given plane type, technology used, experience level, and altitude. For example a B-17 would have a huge CEP while an F-16 would be a lot smaller. Next when you give a target an area bigger than the CEP the crew will try to aim for a target inside the target zone. This way we have a system that will work for all eras and not just WWII.
  4. I believe so, they were both produced together from 1995 to 2000. McDonnell-Douglas tried to maintain as much commonality between the two planes as possible. The Superbug's range requirement resulted in them having different airframes the cockpit and avionics were almost identical.
  5. Any chance we could at least get the different names and camouflage measures in the livery menu? Also how hard do you think it would be to convert the WWII model into a Korean War SCB-27 for any potential Korean war module?
  6. I'd like the link. I'd love to fly the harrier or helicopters off that thing
  7. They are planning to do that. I'd love it if ED were to improve Combined Arms like that. I've suggested in the past that instead of Asset packs they should have naval and land modules
  8. I'm assuming ED will do that. Now the next question is when the FF Eagle comes out, would someone who gets the FF Eagle and has an ED campaign for the FC Eagle get the FF version free?
  9. I believe we are getting the Iowa-class battleships as part of the pacific asset pack, is there any chance we could at least get the 1980s configuration? Though a 1960s New Jersey would be awesome too

  10. Listening to the fighter pilot podcast with Vincent "Jello" Aiello who flew both, I had the impression that the biggest difference between an early model Super Hornet and a late model Legacy Hornet would be the flight model. I don't know how much work it takes to develop a new flight model but as you brought up HB I might point out that it looks like they might be planning at least 2 Phantom modules the E and probably the J. In both case you'll have a similar two similar planes with slightly different cockpits, avionics, and flight modules. Anyway as I have said in the ED or any other developer thinks two aircraft that are supposed to be variants of each other are too different to be in the same module, then they should at least offer a bundle pack.
  11. No, the EF-105F was a designation that was proposed for the F-105F Wild Weasel. I don't belive It was never used. I used it as I was hoping it would focus on the fact I was talking about the Wild Weasel
  12. I think we would need improvements to the EW modeling to even get an Ai Wild Weasel. Two variants of the F saw combat the original Wild Weasels and the Combaat nails. The EF-105F would have some of the same issues as the G but what is available for the Combat nails? I figure the ideal situation for a module or mod would be the D, Combat nails F and G I think a foia request is in order worst thing that will happen is they say no
  13. I'm not sure if there would be much interest in the F-82 as an FF module, but I could be wrong (it might be a good night fighter for WW II/ Korea)

  14. These guys would like to have a word with you. I don't see how a Colonel flying a Hornet kills one iota of realism, just select a Marine Corps livery now a Colonel flying an F-14 that is a different story. Anyway I always figured the best solution for a log book in a flight sim is to have a player's log and a pilot's log. The difference is that the player's log will log everything- highest rank, medals won, longest streak without being shot down, then a pilot's log you would select a nation, branch of service, and it would restart each time you died or reached the equivalent of a brigadier (retired/promoted to desk)
  15. I've suggested adding a friends' list as well. I'd love the following options First the ability to set up squadrons next the options to set up custom groups Also if there is an IM feature then I would love to have a built in mission mode where people can't IM you but they will know if you are connected to a server.
  16. Agreed, when we get the b-29 we better also get a Bull livery
  17. It would be nice have some more bombers form WWII and the cold war. Here is a brief wishlist Tu-22, Tu-16, Tu-4 B-29 (I think it is on the way), B-52 with tail gun could be the D, G, or H , A-26, B-25 hard and glass-nosed , British- V-bombers, Lancaster, welington, bomber variants of the Mosquito
  18. should be an option
  19. I'd love to see a campaign or at least a mission where you are going up against the Japanese fleet with a 1980s carrier battlegroup

  20. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mayaguez_incident This was considered by the last mission of the Vietnam war, the Mayagyez was a freighter which the Kamier rouge took hostage in real life there were some A-7D's involved I think you could do this with the Seawise giant playing the part of Mayaguez, the Marianas as a stand in for Cambodia
  21. I hope they add the taccan, the livery would be easy to fix.
