I'm not talking about an AI F-86 or MiG-15, nor am I talking about a Korean War asset pack. As I keep stating, whenever the subject of Soviet World War II assets comes up I always bring up these two modules becuse BOTH SIDES DURING THE KOREAN WAR USED LEFTOVER WORLD WAR II EQUIPMENT. Right now in the World War II Asset Pack there are plenty of BlueFor assets that were still in service during the Korean War. Now that the MiG-15 and F-86 will be included in FC 2024 it is even more important that ED starts adding Soviet assets that were used in both World War II and the Korean War.

The distance and obstacles can vary quite a bit, as this is rather on going. When I am some distance away and can't see the vehicles in the scope I can get a lock at random but when I am close enough that I can at least see the target as a dot the missile refuses to lock on/ I can get the D to work with a zoomed-in view

I've said it before, the F-86 and MiG-15 make adding Soviet assets that can do double duty (WWII and Korea) necessary. I wish I could model I'd get started on an asset pack

First some place on the new flight menu we should have a button where we can see what frequencies a radio can work on. Second I'd love to see a menu or tool where we can see the frequencies being used and build the preload table

I see the arguments in keeping the old models to avoid breaking older missions. I can see two ways to avoid breaking older missions by deprecating the old models. The first would be to turn them into different blocks, for example the current F-4E could be treated as a Phantom 2K such as the Ice or Terminator and ED goes through and adds weapons like the AMRAAM and HARM. Another method would be to include some sort of built-in utility which replaces the deprecated model.

Is this me being incompetent, a bug, or were the AGM-65As really that stupid?

While the USAF had Warningstar and the Navy had Hawkeyes during the Vietnam war US Navy Cruisers were used in the EW role using the call sign red crown https://stationhypo.com/2021/04/17/piraz-in-the-gulf-of-tonkin-nsgs-role-guest-post

You are definitely speaking for yourself there. However AI versions would be a good start

I'd like a flyable Il-2/10 module. As I have stated repetitively since we have the I-16 and MiG-15 we need to get as many assets that will do double duty

Yes especially OKLAHOMA CITY

The definitive strike version was the D the G was the definitive Wild Weasel.

I was wondering if you good folks at HB has posted their road map? I'd like to know what their current priorities are for the modules especially the A-6?

Low Fidelity / FC 2024 - Bring more low fidelity jets - Suggestions
upyr1 replied to Xhonas's topic in DCS Core Wish List
My low fi wish list is whatever is impossible to do FF. For example let's take F-4G for example. I really doubt we'd get the information for a full fidelity module. However we might be able get a simplified system. Then if there isn't enough information for the F-84 a simplified version might work -
Hopefully we'll stop seeing the Joes operating the non-existent bolt soon

At the minimum I would like to see construction vehicles drive up on the runway

One animation fix I want to see is the m1 garand

Thanks do you ya'll have plans to work on an enhanced flight model? I can state that if ya'll had plans to become official dcs developers the Thud would be an insta buy.

The AGM-78 was phased out of service in the 1980s, about 10 years before the G, So I would expect you would probably be able to get the information for what ever 1970s/80s configuration would be comparable to what HB has already planned. The Terminator I believe is the Turkish name for the Israeli Phantom 2000 upgrade. EW tends to be one of the more secretive aspects of war hence the irony if that were the case.
-
I got a reply from Corbra stating that they were thinking about adding an Israeli Phantom if they could get the information on how they used the STARM. IMHO it would be ironic if the USAF was more open about the G than the Israelis were about the Hammer.
-
Someone on Hoggit posted this photo as well as the Falcon and Pave Drag. Anyway I was wondering if HB can comment on the STARM. I would assume HB is working on a STARM for the A-6 however stashing it in the F-4 files doesn't make sense unless HB had/s something in the works for the STARM and Echo Phantom. There are only 2 versions of the Phantom which carried the STARM The F-4G and Israeli F-4Es. I don't expect to get a FF Geasel though I could see an AI one planned. Depending on the block the Israelis started with, I could see that as a possibility, if the difference between a STARM hammer and either our current spike bird or the upcoming DMAS bird is the mcGyver rigged refueling probe and STARMS then that could be a possibility.

My experince is once the pilot pops the lense cap off, the WSO simply takes control

I saw the first F4 Phantom HUD's on the F4-F model in the USAF (1980)

I think this would be a heatblur question -
Can you clarify what the situation is with the source code? I've heard conflicting stories on this, I believe after the Hawk Fiasco that ED had plans to take over module source code if anyone left I have also heard that wasn't the case.
