  1. Yes
  2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCB-27?wprov=sfla1 It looks like the SCB-27 rebuilds were done shortly after WWII the 5-inch turrets by the Superstructure were removed.
  3. The La-7 is in the works by Octopus-G so there is no reason to cancel it. I would agree we need the Zero and other Japanese planes especially as flyable modules. However we still need REDFOR assets for the Korean era as well as World War II. There is no reason to to have both.
  4. We have the AD on the way it's the A-1H variant (ad-6 pre 1963). The A-1D (ad-4N) was a night attack variant I would like some more information but that could be interesting. My next question is would the planned Essex Carrier work? I know they went through a scb refit. We also need the redfor
  5. We need some ground assets at the minimum some infantry with ppsh.
  6. The last time that I know for a fact a battleship fired her secondary battery in anger was New Jersey during her Vietnam deployment. More often than not the secondaries were dual purpose.
  7. They really need to change their mind. There minimum I am asking for would be assest redfor that would work for both WWII and the Korean-war era.
  8. I've had mixed feelings about the death of MAC, just as I did about it being developed in the first place. On oneside it would have been nice to DCS to be strictly FF and MAC as a separate but related product. However, I've also stated that if we are going to have FC-level modules then I think ED should make it a point to add aircraft that would otherwise not be available in DCS due to lack of data. My biggest fear with the FC versions of the MiG-15 and F-86 is that they will continue to exist in an asset desert since right now all we have in the way of Korean War era assets are those two, BlueFor's WWII leftovers, and we have the AD in the works and while they weren't used in the Korean war the La-7 is planned as well. No matter what we get in the way of Korean-era assets, I'll be a bit miffed, though I'd be less miffed if we get said assets. If we get the Korean war-era assets then why didn't ED ad them to the WWII asset pack or DCS core depending on what was appropriate and if we don't get them then why did ED even bother with FC versions of the MiG-15 and F-86.
  9. I've said it multiple times before, ED really needs to work on East Front assets. I'd love to see the Caucuses map expanded to include Volgograd, and a 1940s version included so we could fly the I-16 over Stalingrad. As for the assets to add I would recommend starting with those that served along side both the I-16 and MiG-15 first
  10. It's that time of the month
  11. While they are at it they should also add horse cavalry and horse drawn vehicles to the WWII asset pack too.
  12. when it comes to AI you have to set up clear rules, so I would like more information about this particular incident and what the standard operating procedures said to do. Anyway, enabling the mission builder to pick the proper battery is more important when it comes to pre-planned shore bombardments.
  13. Is fc 2024 MAC or is that something else ?
  14. Other than the F-5, F-86, and MiG-15 how does it differ from fc3?
  15. If we own Flaming Cliffs or the Afghanistan map the individual fc modules or halfganistan should be marked as owned.

  16. Range would also be a factor. The Iowa-class battleships only sank 2 ships one was a light cruiser hit by Iowa's 16-inch shells. With land targets there needs to be a slightly different matrix. Also an improvement for all artillery would be spotters
  17. I know the YouTuber Casmo has requested this for the C-47
  18. Either the programmers would pick what was more common or give the user a choice.
  19. My idea I should have gone into more detail but my idea would be a system that will keep track of the aircraft type and reset each time you get shot down. the name would have to be done first
  20. A typhoon module is on the way https://forum.dcs.world/forum/613-dcs-eurofighter/ I also wonder what else could we get as modules? Anyway more AI assets are always welcome and that's the only way we're getting modern RedFor so I would add the J-15, Su-35, MiG-35, MiG-29K
  21. Yes we do. MiG-21 Bis, Mirage F1, Mirage 2kc, Uh-1H, I believe the F-5E, the F-4E will be a later variant. The F-14 variants are 1990s but as long as you don't do Air to mud will pass for the 80s. Then the A-6 and A-7 will be 1980s variants as will the MiG-29. The upcoming fitter and if the mess with razbam gets cleared up the Mig-23. The Flaming Cliffs planes We're missing a period Hornet, Viper, and an early F-15E.
  22. The Super Jolly Green Giant would work great with the A-1 Skyraider.
  23. Si eccellente. Thanks for beating me to this.
  24. Better smoke and dust would be cool I'd also love to see the option of a smoke screen
  25. It would be nice to have to have period correct AI assets for the 1970\80s carrier airwing and battlegroup.
