  1. Autohover has acknowledged problems. Hovering has no problems. Magnetic brake is OK. I use it all the time. ..
  2. My 13 Y/O old Saitek gives me no pitch problems. I hold the stick at the top which gives me a 8 inch throw. 20 pitch curve and T/O by numbers. E.G. AA load 65000 lb. rotate at 140 kts. with half stick for 1 second to 12 deg. ..
  3. TO trim when adjusted to the green light, gives a nose up bias to the stabilator. This is required to give the extra authority required for correct rotation and if not applied correctly, will add to the T/O distance. The trim has to be adjusted forward after gear and flaps are raised, in order to return the trim to normal. ..
  4. M model with 67% fuel (350 l) and 4 HOT, about 4200 lbs. T/O and climb from S/L to 7000' at about 120 kts. OK, but full load 4533 lb not possible. Full main tank, 82%, 4 HOT. 4367 lb. T/O and possitive climb at 120 kts. Full load fuel, main plus aux tank, 100%, 4 HOT, 4533 lb. MAX weight. Difficult to get out of ground effect, but circle to the left to reduce pedal and attain 20 knots and a positive climb can be maintained at 110 kts. ..
  5. F-15E Max landing weight is 81000lb. T/O at that weight, rotate at 167 kts. Landing Approach speed at 80000lb is 222kts 21 units. Landing distance over 50' is 11000' with aero braking, including airbrake. Zero wind, 20C. Max touchdown at 240 fpm. Try Mozdok for circuit practice, recommended wide at this weight. 12160' runway. So far, landings at this weight and sticking to the numbers, have been between 9910' and 11126', with the qccasional jaunt into the field at the end, when I balls up. Great fun! ..
  6. The manual is available to read for free on the net. Yes, I would expect basic information such as, how to get off the ground and back down again, to be in the DCS manual. Hopefully it will have more information in the future. ..
  7. M model. Standard ats. Sea Level. 350l fuel (66%). 4 Hot. No problem with take off here. Landing at this weight needs care as you would expect. No autohover used (WIP). ..
  8. 4 minutes load for me. Tedious when trying to learn a new module. ..dcs.zipdcs.log
  9. Might exceed forum rules. Search net for F15 1993 flight manual. ..
  10. 70000lb. T/O. Set T/O trim. Full AB. At rotation speed, 155 kts give half stick for 1 sec. for 12 deg attitude. Nose wheel lift off at 170 kts. Lift off at 190 kts. Gear up, flaps up, trim fwd. From the RL manual. Works perfectly. ..
  11. The The AV 8B, now shows the correct operation of the ASL, connected to the target diamond.
  12. The F-15E, shows the correct operation of the ASL, connected to the diamond. ...
  13. I came to the same conclusion as you. It latches, unlike every other modules I use, which releases after applying. It took me a long time to find out why things weren't working as expected. OK. Operator error. My modifyer, pinkie, was in the switch list instead of the mod list. AOK now. ...
  14. Some sort of bug or problem acknowledgement, would be nice. ..
  15. Refining the Mag variation to June 1944 and applying OS grid correction, works out at 10 39'W. Maybe you could alter the DCS date to correspond. 1 degree per 6 years retarded, so Jan 1934 ish. My only interest in Stoney Cross, is I camped there overnight on the airfield, mid 90's and barbied local sourced Venison Very tasty..
  16. Well you decide. Stoney Cross Ordinance Survey map for Jan 1948 states Var 10 20'W, this makes Jan 1944, 11.0'W. DCS Jan 1944, shows 11.0' to be at Dungeness. ..
  17. Mag var for Stoney Cross 1944 was, 11.0 W. From the OS map. 10' E change per year. ..
  18. Here is the original thread on the subject. It wasn't exactly a bug but more like incorrectly implemented. This argument went on for nearly a year and was eventually resolved April 2019 when the ASL was deemed to be fixed to the diamond. I made a video to record the event. (seen in another thread). Natops TAC-000 shows it as fixed to the diamond. ..
  19. This is a bug that was present in the original release and was corrected. It has now returned. I am using old videos to illustrate the point and save having to make new ones to show the same thing. This shows the original and present none fixed ASL at low level. At higher altitudes it gets worse and degrades the accuracy considerably. After the original fix,This shows the ASL as it should be, fixed to the target point. The ASL at present is incorrect. Please stop me if this is all known. ..
  20. @Ramsay. In auto, I dropped 1,2,4,6,and8 out of a load of 10 on 4 pylons. Selecting 10, only 7 dropped, spaced in groups of 4 and 3. But my concern is that the ASL is not fixed to the target marker. It should look like this. Fixed to the TM. (Old video made after the same bug was corrected). ..
  21. The ASL in auto, is supposed to be fixed to the target diamond, but it is displaced, equally and opposite to the vvv, just as it was when the Harrier first came out about 4 years ago, until it was fixed. I can't find any bug report for a new repeat bug. Apart from that, it does actually work, except for the bomb spacing, which doesn't. ..
  22. Thanks. DYK if this bug is connected to the auto fall line being diconnected from the target in CCRP. ..
  23. The interval is 1000'. Quite a distance. ..
  24. Ctrl + K, for single player. Not a cheat but normal practice IRL, to mark positive posn ident. Don't know about MP. ..
