  1. Looks good. I thought about using the modifier +trim for weaponselect and put DLC for aft on the left right stick buttons. I think in Case 1, when you work the throttle like in the hornet its bether to use the DLC without a modifier.
  2. A Noob question, which purpose has the DDD? As i understand DDD and TID got both input from the radar. The DDD show only the approachspeed but nothing more, while the TID show everything as a more modern radar. So while should i use the DDD when the TID provide more information from the same source? Sorry i don't understand that part in the video.

  4. Im a little bit afraid about carrier ops. Maybe someone could help me? My concern is about Case 3 Landing at night. In the Hornet i could use my course Selector for the approach part, make it comfortable to fly case3. Bu what about the tomcat? As i heard (maybe wrong) we dont have that ability to place a courseline in the Tomcat. And also the HSI dont have a good visibility down there behind the stick. So i think the pilot needs instructions from the RIO who guide the pilot to the ball call. Will Jester be able to do that?
  5. I want do know if i can Bind DLC on an Axis or use an axis as digital input. The Rudder on the T16000 Hotas is really made for this to use it the intendet Way. Has anyone infos about that?

  8. Can i still bend this on an Axis? It will fitt perfectly on the Rudder-Axis on my T16000 Hotas. So Please make that avaible as Axis too. Thanks. :)
  9. Im interestet how Jester work with the Lantirn. I think spotting a camouflaged tank near the tree line would be hard for an AI. Or maybe its just me. I really sucked to find targetns in the A10C When there was no direct waypoint marker at the garget and the target was maeked with red smoke bombs, i really got trluble to find them. Having Hester calling me targets abd give me a Mark on the HUD would be really great. :D

  12. So thankas for all the advices. I made a Video from my Case 1 (and sorry but i dont know how record correctly DCS with VR so the video looks a little bit stupid) and tried to use some of the hints. And hey, i got the 4. wire :smartass: What used was: 1. using Airbrakes into the break to drop speed faster. 2. Wait a little bit longer in upwind to have moe time in downwind. 3. use pitch in the break even after dropping flaps and gear. Hold 800ft with pitch and start to trimm to on-speed when my speed is about 150kn. use the height-dropp when going onspeed to reach the 600ft. I also tweaked my throttle a lot. I change the axis from slider to normals and give it a curvature of 23. it looks a little bit like this: But it give me the(heavily missed) sensitive i need to controll the plane in groove and on final.   13. i think you missunderstand me, sorry for that. I know that i need to trimm onspeed. my problem is that the plane is not controllable for me when im onspeed. My problem is that after im onspeed that the throttle controll the pitch. lets i i fly straight and im on-speed and Velocity Vektor is on the horizon. When i now reduce speed a little bit, the Vektor drops under the horizon and i climb down. If i add speed i climb up. I have huge problems just to hold the velocitvector on the horizon line. And when i touch the pitch-xis i loose the e-braket. I dont get into it. It feels more like a bullride then flying an airplane. So i got a lot problems just for a case 3 landing or a landing without landingpattern. it work mostly but its an absolute mess. And doing the groove while landing mode and on-speed just dont work. I loose control after the break, dont have the time to stabilize the plane before i must into the groove, then im ess up the groove, i need to make a sharper turn, thats means more speed and after the turn the jet jumps right into the air cause the pitch goes up.
  14. To be honest, i HATE the Way the controls switch when the hornet goes to landing mode. Maybe im the only one in the world who has problem with this but i just dont get used to it. Everathing works fine when i go into the break. But when i put flaps to landing mode and put the gear down and stop pitching (but try to hold the role cause its mostly only 120° from the 180° turn? everything goes to hell. The plane point the nose into the air caus im to fast, or it point the nose intro the ground cause its to slow. I reaching 1500+ft or 250-ft right after the break and the few seconds in the abeam are not enough time to get a good On-Speed-Trimm and go back to 600ft. So when i manage it and start the groove i have o much trouble holding the height and roll the plane without pitching that i overshoot most of the time and when i try to compensate it i got so fast (cause dharper turn + same height = more speed) that after the turn the nose goes up and i fly 500-600ft above the landing deck. I love the hornet, but adfter all that months i HATE CASE1 soso much that i dont want to fly anymore. My last hope: Is there a way to disable that fly-by-wire-landing shit? I dont want the throttle to controll my pitch. I want my pitch to controll my pitch. I want land my hornet like i would land a A10C on an Airfield. Stick to controll pitch and roll, Throttle to controll thr thruster-output. Its o annoying. I dly with 250kn into the break, wait 2nm on tacan before i got into break,only to have neough time to stabilize the aircraft. But even than i suck 75% of the time. :mad:
  15. So i testet your example Missions and got a little bit Feedback for you. :) First to the mission: 1. If you want people to checkout your LSO Script then make a Mission Start in the Air where you are 4-5nm away from the Stennis with proper height and speed. Like the Case1 Mission from ED. haven the full rampstart and start from the deck every time IS annoying. Please just let us start in the air a few seconds before enter the landing pattern. Thanks. 2. I know carrier filled with planes looks cool. But for VR users like me it slow the FPS down to make us sick. Please clear the deck. 1-4 planes are ok but puttung a plane everywere is just to much in my eyes. Now to your LSO Script. 1. For an non native english speaker (im from germany) who concentrate on flying the landing paddern i just hear "brbrblrbrl brll to brlbrlb". Congrats to your sounds, they sound very good. But not understandable for me. Please add subtitles. You dont need 100% subtitles but maybe something like "Abeam to close - Wave off" in the same area where you show the information about the carrier. 2. Give a hint that the script starts correctly. Maybe a voice or at the info area. Like "Paddels has visual, start landing pattern" ore i dont know. So the pilot knows that the script triggers correctly. 3. Add a training Mode. Here you could give mroe info like "go in break" now, "go in groove now" ect. ect. some advice for people to learn the landing pattern. 4. What happens after the Wave off? How can i reset the LSO Script?
  16. what should i do to use the example mission? Or is everything in the mission file (luia and sounds) and i just need download and start? Sorry im not very familiar with modding missions. I just want to try it out. I just need a tutorial for "try the example mission for dummies" please :)
  17. Hi zusammen, mir sind da win paar Sachen unklar deswegen frag ich einfach mal. 1. Wann soll MAC rauskommen? 2. Was ist der Unterschied zwischen den ganzen Flanker Varianten? Gibts da einen? 3. Gibts einen Sovjet Flieger mit Anti-Ship Bewaffnung? 4. Haben alle Flieger dann das 3D Cockpit wie die F15 und Su33? 5. Wie verhält es sich mit dem FC3 Modul und Einzelverkäufen wie der SU-33? Werden die dann gemerged zu MAC oder bleibt das unabhängig? 6. Wird es preisliche Auswirkungen haben für MAC wenn man einzelne Module schon hat?

  20. I read somewhere that on Bombcat, the Rio would controll the target-pot / ground radar and when he find a target, he marks ot and the pilot could see it on the hud. Am i correct with this? And is jester able to do it?

  22. Beachte dabei das F15 und SU27 leichte Module ohne Klickbares Cockpit sind. Doe F18 ist da ein gamz anderes Kaliber. Soll dich nicht von abschrecken. Nur als Info. :)
  23. Starten soll man immer mit Flaps auf Half und erdt Airborne aif Automatik stellen. Denke da ist der Fehler. Vielleicht kann das FCS nicht mit niedrigen Gedchwindigkeiten umgehen?
