To talk about Pilot.
No Problems here. There are some problems on reading buttonlabels, but mostly they are for tests only and can be ignored. HUD and Monitores are easy readable. The warnlights around the HUD are easy readable.
And its just awesome to look back and see that MASSIVE Plane behind you. :pilotfly:
So in the F18 i never usen rudder so this is new to me.
As i understand. I roll the Aircraft in the desired direction (let say left) then press the left rudder to 100% and just use pitch to keep height. Is that correct?
I think spoilers only work with wings on 20 degree.
When i try a landing yesterday, gear down, flaps out, wings on 20deg and press the DLC Control/CMS Button, the spoilers pop up in a static position.
1. Jaster Menu will allways display on the front. No problem with that. But the headtracking set the current position of your head as centerpoin.
For example i look to the right to 2oclock and open the jester menu. The menu spawn in front 12oclock, so i move my head into that direction. But that head movement is still tracked for the menu so i am not able to select something cause the head-"line" goes much to far and maek the menu unusable.
2. Often i open the menu per accident, but cant close it without pushing some jester Buttons and give silly ordcers just to let the menu dissapear. A menu closed button would be very good.
3. On Tacan Selection, please show the name of the airport and not the code.
4. A "what did you see jester" Button would be cool. Maybe it exist and i missed it but i could really use it. Sometimes when flying with a wingman and i lost visual and cant establish visual again (cause of crappy VR Eyes) it would be cool to call Jester what plaes are in his line of sight.
Like Eldur said, about the Engine Panel are, small gauges which start to move fast when you go into afterburner.
I now dont have problems with it. You can see and hear when you pass the mark.

Im mean in an A-A Engagement. Can the Rio controll the Sparrows and Phoenix Missiles via his Radar while the Pilot use Sidewinder and Guns on the same Time?
For Exampla, you have a bogey in 1nm 12oclock and another bogey lets say 11 oclock 7nm.
Can the pilot engage bogey 1 while the rio engage bogey 2 on the same time?
I personally would prefer a Button for it.
Put Throttle to the max, gives only military power. Push the AB-button activates afterburner wshile throttle is on max. When move throttle back from max, afterburner will deactivate and when i go on max again i only get mil. power until i press the AB-button again.
or do we have an Ab-Marker like the Viggen?
The T16000M Hotas has a rudder Axis on Hotas which could work perfect on this. Sadly i never got an answer on the question about axis bindung for DLC. So i think its digital. Full or nothing.

I plan to, when im in final on carrier landing, to work mostly with the DLC to center the ball. Maybe that will be a bullshit idea but i give it a try :D
