  1. which kind of targets? because every time we ask why USN didn't show often Aim-54 in real combat actions, then a fanboy come to tell because it was too expensive missile. Such justification have not any real life logic. We see the price of every weapon extensively used by USN, USAF and allied, when you compared the threat value and weapons price, that is not like the real main reason to not carry often Aim-54 was the kind of targets in real combat and what the people don't want mention... the bad performance of the missile against real air threat. Real: ECM environment, fighters that change aspect all the time, etc ect. The current Aim-54 performance in DCS is more compatible with Acecombat 7. Not that DCS is a simulator...?
  2. Yep. It is time to add some real life behavior to this missile never was successful IRL. This missile is ruining DCS game play in that way implemented by developers. This thing is unrealistic.

  10. Don’t take me wrong with this quasi OT. I understand you need keep going forward for next module. We already know Mig-21 module need some attention. Question... why you don’t make a similar version of this aircraft e.g. Mig-21UM or Mig-21MF then you use this projects to clean up the current module bugs and also you get your bucks and we get another version and better Bis module. I will go for MF first and launch it as Alpha, then you avoid the pissy users asking for all perfect but at least you will have incoming $ and time, also the community will help for research in case something missed. Edit: Look what ED did with FW-190. Not the same case but it is a smart move and we get a second 21 and a better module.
  11. About the SR unit: Tested. I like the single radar scope view. Good job. About LN datalink. I think we should keep the radar scope in LN units assuming is a datalink on board. Also, taking account those units have datalink. We should have the option to show the position of our LN team units in our SR radar screen for further tactics response we should know where are the LN team in our radar scope. Edit: every unit have GPS, so that’s why.

  15. Don’t take wrong the idea for IRL behavior will be the same as DCS do. You are facing a SAM AI in automatic mode in DCS. That mean they will launch missiles as a kid throws stones to a river.

  17. Can we have some love move and make an external AI models of this beaty that work with more countries as Su-30 do?. The community can make some extra skins. I don't ask as a free develoment. You can add it as bonus for your modules.
  18. Korea is one of my most wanted in my Fav list. We should have the map for Sabre and Mig-15. Those modules are forgotten. We find really small quantities of server with a Korean war simulation. Almost all the 3rd parties are western countries and all them are focused in modern warfare. As the Fighter Collection Group do not show interest in improve Redfor modules or make new one, this situation create poor motivation for programmers and new developers investment from Eastern countries in this simulator with increasing Pro-western preference in general. The Eastern programmers/developers don't trust in the way this simulator is taken.
  19. That sound good. thanks. Another issue that disappoint really hard is that now days you gonna find less players in Red side than in Blue. This situation is created by the leak of improvements for Redfor aircrafts. For example, if you set some AI in CAP groups that in certain moment move toward frontline to face the Bluefor. Using AI that refuel automatic they never get last. you will keep this resource in the missions to get activated when the mission start and there are unbalanced one side in numbers. It is really unfair get inside a mission and one side conquered the main part of the territory because the leak of players. This is an issue for The fighter Collection as main investor in this Simulator, not for server admin or mission designer. Redfor AI: Su-30, Su-24, Su-34 Bluefor AI: F-15E, F-4, Tornado, F-117 You have the tools to create realistic mission with fun until the end of the missions. Also limiting the amount of certain Aircraft in the closest frontline airfield could be something that simulate limitation in resource. There are tons of options.
  20. There is not frontline in most of the servers. A disaster in realistic speaking. Doesn’t exist a single war without frontline. Now the new fashion is conquer airfields... too bad. How come all the aircraft go so easy through the whole enemy territory without find potential threats until They get close to the wanted enemy airfield. This situation is a classic now days. I was thinking after introducing F-18 servers Admin will make missions with more Sams. The most they do is set a Buk group in the farthest bases and spread some Tors and OSAs around the battlefield in a really mediocre way. Easy job for F-18 and poor realism to get enemy airfield quickest as possible. I really disappointed the way have taken DCS in MP servers. Instead of conquering territories they wanted make airfields the main goal. I use to open new threads with useful ideas in wish forum but they never hear. They just want save resources to the new western aircraft. Actually is the way this simulator is taken, pro-western aircraft in investments and plan resources. If they make a small move for Eastern aircraft is for showing how hard they are some pointless in flight Physics instead of combat improving experience. The main unbalanced is originally made from main developers. Is on one side everything and this is becoming boring.
  21. The aircraft still have a lot of tricky new features that is not supposed to be like that. It is FC3... all right, understood that, but what about all the realistic flight models for F-15? All the simulation that bring high difficulty drive level is coming for Russian fighters in FC3. While F-15 still keep with high maneuvers with wigs fuel tanks. Making Turns that nobody know if that amount of Gs shown in the information bar is showing the thrust. While the new Mig-29 PFM is a nightmare in trimming setup. After every single high Gs maneuvers we can’t counter attack without before trimming the whole aircraft. Still we keep jumping 10 meters high after make a slight mistake in landing... I personally use more Mig-29 than any other aircraft in DCS and is the aircraft with more accidents in landing after the new PFM. (Mig-21, Mig-19, Mig-15, Su-27 no problem at all, in Mig-29 a tiny mistake is a 10-15 meter bounce to secure you died in the try. This RWR is just a mess, They fixed it for a while and brought the RWR bug back again... like something was too good and should be broken back. I fly Mig-29 more than Su-27 and I know what I am talking about. Mig-29 have a lot of new features that make you think twice if this is a serious simulation, even more if you look to F-15 that is in the same FC3 improvements, as PFM or whatever they want to make you believe. At end of the day is like Mig-29 should remain so because someone like it so.

  23. Small calibers, tank, artillery ammo were not in the Sim as official feature. Maybe they were testing to see how go in performance. See on map every single round is a killer performance for a heavy and busy mission. I rather will implement something like change the unit color to Yellow color, then you know this unit is shooting.
  24. Client is for MP. Also work for SP. you will have the option to change aircrafts when you run units. set to client in SP missions when you want use more than one aircraft. Just be careful not to set Client and then Player at the same time edition, because ones you set player all the rest change to AI skills automatic
  25. As tittle show. I want simulated the dynamics mark in F10 map with triggers. Setting the same mark and removed depending of the enemy position. I got to do it but ones the mark is removed is gone and I did not manage to make it show again on the map. I attached the mission file. Maybe you have a better idea Dinamic marks comboy.miz
