Don’t know if this will help anyone, but was flying over the Sinai map and checked the map, started getting the screen tearing in the right eye of my quest 2, then had to take off the headset (the postman having the audacity to try and deliver something whilst I was flying ) but when I came back and put the headset back on it was back to usual smoothness and no tearing … haven’t had s chance to try replicating this.

Would it be possible to add an option in the F10 map to export the Lat/long and height at the cursor point to the Kneeboard. this would be great for VR users.

This would be an amazing module in VR, right now it’s a pain if you fly in vr and switch to ground units

Whilst on the subject of new airfields, can I throw in a vote for North Weald, it was a well known spitfire base https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_Weald_Airfield also would it be possible to add Southend pier also known as HMS Leigh fantastic map well done !!

You would have to have the standard green with shamrocks and the all black with white top Guinness design

another thing that can make a big difference is the cable that you use to connect the quest to your PC ... they can vary massively is speed of data transmission

looks like less buildings on the Normandy 2 map, if that is the same location, i think there are two radar arrays, but could be wrong

I would think at the high rates of fire this cannon can do, the strain and wear on the cog/toothed gear mechanism would be high to say the least

so when one barrel fires the gas piston pushes the bolt backwards to eject the spent cartridge, and the pivot and crossbar in the center moves the other bolt forwards with a new shell to fire? this then repeats.

thought the ground crew had been busy

not sure if this has already been reported, but the 20round rocket pod for the huey seems to have a texture problem

I read somewhere they had to extend the barrel becuse the muzzle was right beside the co-pilot gunner, and the muzzle blast was causing damage to the airframe and the person sitting beside it... so in true russian style they just welded a bit on the end and moved the muzzele forwards a bit.

Just tested, the laser mav's seem to be working all fine. I haven't tried the lgb's yet but if the mav's work so should they.

They may be wanting to get the Huey's MP cockpit out and perfected before implementation on the hind
