  1. Glad you found a solution! Could you maybe try one thing for me? Go into the rudder axis settings and remove the dead zone and instead set a Y Saturation of 1 (the curve should now almost horizontal). Try to see if you experience the problem. If not, see if you can increase the saturation in steps until you see the problem again.
  2. Hi Sartarius! I am not at my dev-machine right now but will try to investigate as soon as possible. Meanwhile, could you try removing the assignment for rudder in the control-config and use the keyboard instead (default Z and X keys)? We had an issue with twist-rudder when the Viggen was originally released but I think it was solved back then. Sorry for the inconvenience!

We update our module files on EDs server every week, after its been vetted by the QA-crew for one week. So any build is at most two weeks old that is included in DCS updates. Keeping Viggen compatible with the rapidly advancing DCS-framework is a necessity just like it would in any other alive and well software project.
  4. Because everyone loves WIP-stuff I thought I'd show you some retroactively. 2013: Herre's the first video I recorded at the very beginning of the Viggen-project. I modified CptSmileys F-16 FM and figured out how to reverse the engine and remove the FLCS-logic: Another video with F-16 FM, this time I figured out how the landinggears worked in DCS, except for nosewheel steering that implemented a solution myself. This is probably the first video of the redone FM that was made from scratch. This video was made by another programmer that shortly after this parted with the project: This is (needlesly long) collage from around this time of when I tried to figure out why the aircraft in certain conditions would accelerate until it exploded. This happens if the force you apply in one direction is positively linked to the velocity or acceleration in that direction, for example if drag makes the plane go faster. The issue with underperforming lift in medium speeds (mentioned in this thread), as well as engine under performing at altitude (the fuel regulator issue Cobra mentioned) as well as over performing afterburner at altitude where all corrected a while back and was included in the DCS 2.1.1 release or earlier. There might have been other fixes I don't remember. If there are issues please let me know.
  8. ** AJS-37 Changelog / Update Master List ** The real-life radar in Viggen is not tuned to make out individual buildings. From what has been described to us, you could make out Globen-sized buildings but nothing else. Ships on the other hand where clearly visible even on long ranges but that has more to do with the large contrast the ships make against the background water. You can see the shape and orientation of the ships in DCS:Viggen right now if you haven't noticed :)
  9. Thanks for the report! I'll look into it. Note that using the emergency trim disables the normal trim. It might be that the disabling is triggered even though the emergency trim hasn't been used.

  14. Targets destroyed with BK 90 don't count for score Hey guys I appreciate the suggestions but I already tried it back when implemented this a year back. The cluster-bombs in DCS is restricted to being gravity bombs and doesn't glide nor follow terrain. If having the Bk90 as one of those would mean you can't use it in its intended launch envelope (i.e. standoff) and would instead have to overfly the target. I've followed the same set-up as the other gliding cluster munition in DCS: JSOW, and added quite a bit of trickery to get it where it is today (submunitions simulation, terrain-following). I have hope the possibilities will be expanded before the F-18 comes.

  18. My bad! I haven't coded up the function for CK37 to re-check whether there are new weapons on the stations after they have fired. Sorry for late response.
  19. There's a number of critical problems with the radios at the moment, in particular a mismatch between 3D-animation and the actual state of the radio. I was working on it for the recent releases but haven't been able to finish it. Sorry about that.
  20. Only thing new is a fix for the issue with compass/navigation (a buffer overflow). I believe there was some graphic update as well.

  22. The error says you are missing a file. Go into C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\mods\aircraft\AJS37\Cockpit\reources\ and see if you can find the file radar.fx If it's not there I suggest you disable any anti-virus software running and reinstall the Viggen module. If it is there I suggest you reinstall it anyway or even DCS World. You can reinstall the Viggen module through the module manager in DCS: In the main menu, click the "grid"-like icon at the top. Select Installed. Uncheck AJS37 and then click close and restart DCS. Then install AJS37 as you normally would again. Hope this helps!
  23. Hotfix for HUD/COMPASS/NAV-issue So I found the bug and it's been fixed.   24. There is no radar-fix in B-scope in the real plane. This was an inaccuracy in the earlier builds of DCS:Viggen.
  25. Good news! I am able to replicate the problem on my end! The trick was going to the Quick Start mission.
