Great progress :D I don't have the time to be in the test group but for sure I'll buy the release version.

If you want 6 DOF you need atleast one lighthouse cube. To set up with just one cube you need to have it ca 2m in front of you initially and then it can be closer. Search on reddit for one lighthouse setup with vive.

I'd venture as far as say YES! But be aware that You cannot run with all bells and whistles in graphics but immersion is outstanding. You will be sweating after an intense battle :D

As far as I'm aware Beta is NOT available on STEAM and there is a delay in release.

Rise of Flight is "dead" in regard to new development. It will be replaced by Flying Circus by 1CGS https://il2sturmovik.com/store/flying-circus/ and VR will be implemented there. And the VR implementation is the best in the flightsimulator business at the moment.

OTT don't work with Oculus latest software (1.23 and/or Dash). A new version is in the pipe. Oculus moved some parts of the software and profiles for third party programs is broken. There is a thread in oculus forum from the developer.

The control panel settings ar null and void in VR. It won't do anything if something hasn't changed drastically lately.

I have the Rift, it's a game changer. It do take some hours to get accustomed to since tracking is 1:1 and initially a slight nausea can occur. If I were You though, I'd hold off a bit until we see what Pimax deliver because the larger FOW and higher resolution will be the next step in evolution for VR.

Hi, I have suddenly got an error with this utility regarding Open Alpha. When I try to start in "No VR" I get this error. "Important files are damaged: E:/DCS World 2 OpenAlpha/bin/dcs.exe. Please repair. check dcs.log for details."

I've been watching VKB for some time now and I can only conclude that living in Europe is a no go for ordering from them. The European web page is utterly dysfunctional and filled with old "out of stock" items and response is abysmal. For me ViRPIL is the go to company and I will order from them instead, sorry but thats how i see it.
