  9. See above quote.
  10. When doing an air-spawn, I've noticed that the Battery and the Generator switches are off by default. It shouldn't be the case.
  11. What needs to be updated exactly?
  12. Hopefully the Chuck's guide will be further updated by the end of the summer.
  13. I would suggest that you consult the link to the Tutorial Library in my signature, especially the P-51 and Spitfire guides. In the engine management sections, I do explain what engine limits to respect at all times and what to do if you exceed momentarily these limits. The truth with warbirds is that there is no single engine setting that will suddenly make you outperform everyone else. Each power setting needs to be used in a specific situation (combat, takeoff, climb, cruise). It's useless to go for max power when you are cruising unless you are pursuing a target you've already acquired. Sure, some people try to milk every additional mph of their aircraft by manually closing their radiator just enough to gain 5-10 mph more... but the lack of radiator position indicator on either aircraft makes it more a safety risk than anything the second you need to manoeuver.
  14. Surely it can't be that bad...?
  15. Do you guys know if the bombing depression tables are available anywhere?

  17. DCS I-16 Ishak now available! https://drive.google.com/open?id=1lmJwg6y7XPKBSQx56jL3K-ee6cFcH-w4 Feel free to consult it on Mudspike as well. https://www.mudspike.com/chucks-guides-dcs-i-16-ishak/
  18. Does anyone have info on the Manual flywheel clutch lever? It's pretty much the only lever I've found no use for so far.
  19. Does anybody know what this tube fixed to the right hand side of the fuselage is?
  20. The ED flight manual is available in: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Doc
  21. A damage model isn't limited to wings ripping off. Plenty of engine-related malfunctions or system-specific ones (hydraulic system failure, generator failure, etc.) can be coded and emergency procedures are the bread and butter of civilian modules.
  22. Welcome aboard! I really like the depth that went into simulating this aircraft. Just the way the landing gear is modelled is a good indicator of how much love went into this module. Well-done!
  23. Can a moderator add a forum for OctopusG? Now that their I16 is live... I believe they deserve a place to gather feedback.
  24. Wasn't aware of this difference between the SA342 and the SA341. I find it rather strange that we'd leave the starter switch on (I've never seen that on any helicopter... but stranger things have happened). I will update the manual.
  25. Enjoy! https://chucksguides.com/aircraft/dcs/mig-19p/
