  1. I've never been to Vegas but it doesn't seem that outlandish.
  2. Buddy, you're failing to follow your own logic. At 03:00 (or "at December") includes 03:00.59 (or the 31st).
  3. There was supposed to be a patch for 2.0 last week. My guess is that they're gonna include the 2000 in the delayed release of that.
  4. Those settings look reasonable, but I still can't compare without a mission file. I did created one like you said, and had 70+ fps, but it was a different location on the map so we can't be sure. I can also say that I've never ever seen 22 fps in 1.5.
  5. I don't mind betas, as long as they don't do a Belsimtek and keep it in beta for years as what seems to be an excuse to leave it unfinished and make other things.
  6. Exactly, and toe brakes. And zoom view, if you wanna use that. People usually set that to the "friction" slider on the right side of the WH throttle. Not sure whether resetting to defaults is needed. If it is, you can just rename or move the saved games/DCS/config/inputs folder, and the game will create a new one with everything default upon launch.
  7. Too silent? RAZBAM are doing an amazing job talking to us here on the forums, showing us new things etc. They post more than I do!
  8. I don't think you'll be disappointed, it's a very nice piece of gear. The A-10C is entirely mapped, just plug and play! You just need to correct the axis assignments since DCS has some trouble with doing that itself.
  9. That's great news, in that case. Always a pleasure to find out that things are more realistic than you suspected.
  10. Alright buddy, let's get this sorted out. There's something wrong somewhere (which is good news!), that's not the performance you should be getting. First of all, show us your settings (screenshot the options page). 22 fps sounds low but flat shadows = off and a few other settings can really take a toll. Second, attach a mission in which you get poor performance at the beginning. "Create fast mission" randomizes a mission so we can't use that for testing. Also, that "video memory" number that the game is reporting is always that high. I'm not sure how it works but it might be VRAM+RAM occupied by the game, in which case 6 gigs is fine.
  11. Depends on how many bonus points you have, obviously.
  12. 8 has been fine for me since 1.5 and 2.0 came out.
  13. I have basically an identical system to yours, as you can see. The only important difference is that I have 8 gigs of RAM currently (although I have 16 fresh GB on my desk ready to go in) Send me your mission/track and I can take a look at the performance! Although I will say that I have never seen anything like 22 fps in single player, in an F-15, at that altitude.
  14. It's BYOS though.
  15. Well someone on Hoggit is eating a sock.
  16. If there are developers that think in that way, it's a shame. I don't think that's what most of us want from DCS. When I want symmetric and balanced competition instead of realism I play Counter-strike.
  17. I've noticed that it's very hard to fly uncoordinated, even without any rudder input at all. Is that related to this? And does the aircraft require that little rudder in real life too?
  18. I was just commenting on the battle of semantics in which you were engaged and, from my perspective, losing. I think it'll be released soon too! Hopefully I'll be procrastinating next week away and learning French one switch label at a time. Unofficially, of course.
  19. Grunf, you fiend. Get a hold of your life! GET A GRIP, GRUNF.
  20. I'd call that pretty unofficial.
  21. Wow. Either that metal is far too brittle or your ipad is made of something entirely different than my samsung. Good luck with finding that part.
  22. I can only assume you drew that. Must be nice to know that you can always draw balls for a living if this whole flight sim thing doesn't work out.
  23. Since you bring it up, it should say säkringspinne. You seem to speak German so I'm sure you understand the difference between Ä and A.
  24. Alright, so it should clearly be LÅSNING which is the Swedish for locking. The other stuff baffles me slightly. I'm pretty sure it should be FÄLLNING since "fallning" isn't a word, but that's what it says. ARMERING is correct, but I have no idea what RECOKING should be, since that's not a word (in English) either.
