  1. How can you tell it's being pushed off course? The slip ball, measuring on map?
  2. Am I really the only one that feels that the aircraft is a struggle to get off the ground smoothly?
  3. Completely valid opinion, and since you feel like that you should wait for the final release.
  4. This is sublime.
  5. That would definitely be better than nothing, yeah.
  6. And also there's a reason that we have the acronym DEAD.
  7. Also, and I may be wrong on this, I don't actually think it's technically M90. It's just very similar.
  8. Is it supposed to be this hard to pull up smoothly on take-off? Even with my extension on the warthog it's hard to pull up through the 13 degrees to the top of 3 degree poles smoothly. A few degrees nose up trim helps but I still end up with no give, and then suddenly going too far. Thoughts?
  9. Shouldn't be, they're autonomous.
  10. Right, the lights indicate commanded afterburner zone, and the gauge on your right knee indicates what zone is actually given.
  11. I don't know if it's possible to run your own scripts on top of DCS? Like, you could convolve the seeker image (which is "perfect" in DCS) and then see if the contrast is large enough in this image to allow a lock using a "simple" program. Don't know what that'd do to performance though.
  12. ^ Agree with that.
  13. Alright, fair enough, after reading the SFI once more I can kinda see how this might be that. I'm pretty sure this is a bug. The logic might be fundamentally sound, but having watched my aircraft for a few minutes, I really don't think the elevons should be deflecting maximally up and down at random in ground idle.
  14. I'll see if I can get it to work when I get home.
  15. That magnetic course knob should already be set correctly by default, you shouldn't have to worry about that. Which runway is this? Maybe it's a local bug and you should try another field?
  16. Sure, but what is it damping? My impression is that it damps commanded inputs (sensed by reading stick input electronically), not just any movement of the aircraft.
  17. The TILS will steer you three degrees off, by design (from memory, it might be some other small angle). And I think you need to make sure that SI SLAV is set to FRÅN to get the steering bars on the ADI, could that be the problem?
  18. Nope, raised mode is "in-flight".
  19. Which function of SPAK do you argue does this, then? It does not, in my understanding, attempt to keep the aircraft trimmed (below Mach 0.92 or something like that).
  20. Do you have the HUD glass set to in-flight?
  21. The thing is, it looks like there's an elevation in terrain right before they explode. Maybe it's just trying to sea skim and flies into the ground. The warhead arms 250 meters away from the target, and will detonate upon impact, so they would explode in that scenario.
  22. Right, but note that in the video he's setting Bx8 on the target, not Bx9.
  23. Sure, but that weapon is pretty far from what we have.
  24. Don't think that's how it's intended to work. Then again, I don't know the missile logic for not finding a group while Bx9 (self destruct point) is not defined.
