Tip: Do NOT ever edit any formatted text container (Lua, .js, etc etc), in Windows Notepad, Either use a software suite like Visual Studio, Or Notepad++, both are free, w/ Notepad++ being the easier to use option.

Early WIP in their testing build, doesn't translate to "Its already in Sim", if ED said "Coming Soon" it would not likely be in the release build.

It's an Expansion Mod I am working on, originally the Wing Tanks Mod, has been expanded to Wintip tanks, Drop tanks, ILS/VOR, VHF, ADF Antennas and Export, Skoshi AAR Probes. But it was back burnered by some other priority projects in progress, w/ F-5E 2024 being public, I will likely hold the mod until after the remaster is released, and modify the Expansion mod to use either Legacy or Remastered files. I've already started working on re-building weapons table, and giving AI Export versions AGMs etc etc. And like I've been doing for other projects I'm working on/partnering with, This mod will install 100% in the SG folder and not have to be merged, managed, removed, re-installed after a DCS Update or break IC. Discussion / Updates on that mod were posted here: As for the ADF Antenna on the Stab / Spine? Brazil has those.

Ok because I have the tech docs for the SUU-63s *( And EVEN SUU-79s)* that pretty much conclude the BRU32/A adapter is not capable of mounting the LAU-127x/A Rails directly. The SUU-80s on the super hornet's can mount the LAU-127x/A, via the ADU-773 Adapter. The Swiss Hornets have a low drag A2A Pylon, that looks similar to the SUU-80 w/ designed for AAM, but it's got a different designation, and they are the only one's that have it, as their hornets were configured for 9Gs and A2A Only Primarily.

Correction, the Community needs to thank Galinette, who recoded the M2K, for Free, regardless of being a contractor under RB. Not to mention they were the ONLY group charging for Individual Strike Fighters Aircraft Mods ~15-20 bucks, and they didn't even have to model cockpit systems at all., -
Please provide proof, because I've never seen a Legacy hornet, w/ a single AIM-9/120 Rail on SUU-63x/A, with the only exception being for the Switzerland, who paid for a low profile pylon similar to the SUU-80 on the super hornet, that has the ADU Interface required to attach an LAU-127E/A or A/A directly to the Pylon, which is mounted on the outboard stations. Allowing them to deploy units w/ 4x AIM-9s or 2 AIM-9s and 2 AIM-120s etc etc.
-
AIM-120/9 on LAU-115C by itself is not realistic. LAU-115C doesn't have required ADU interface to hook an AIM-120 or AIM-9 to that Launcher directly. It would be on a LAU-115C+LAU-127x2, if you only want one, it's usually loaded on the outboard rail of the LAU-115C+127x2. In addition, The SUU-63 Pylon also does not have the ADU interface required to load the LAU-127A/A directly to it like it does on the SUU-80/Super Hornets.

not planned F-18B - make more $ E.D, plus I can teach easier.

As I said though, the features being added, replacing those in early newsletters, are taking the Hornet to more Mid/Late 2000's. -

Mid-2000s (2003–2006), So a few months due to fleet deployment delays and SCS Updates. Early 2000s is literally 2000/2001 -

Umm, the ATFLIR is Newer than the Nitehawk... so we actually went from early 2000's to later 2000's -

There's a specific reddit page that likes to do "expose" articles. -
LRIP used Legacy hornet procedures w/ some notes from Boeing for modifications, LRIP and Early Block I's were essentially transitional jets. That being said, the Tacman for the Legacy is available if you fill out and submit the formal request and it's approved, so likely ED has done this as at one point or another there was an agreement of some type w/ Boeing. The UFCD as a 3rd MPD was not enabled until later software updates, so LRIP jets only had the UFCD, the MDI Toggle wasn't enabled until later updates. The entire Super Hornet cockpit was (sans a few instrument panels and EFIE) transplanted into late block Legacy hornets for Finland and Switzerland.

I've spoken w/ both Pete and Ells after VEAO Left, that is the Long story short version, which is why it was labelled "allegedly", I can't really go into specifics beyond that publicly.
