  1. Sorry if this has come up before. I set up some 1v1 missions for practice and noticed the AI will keep pumping flares (until exhausted) when the player has the AI in front of it. Doesn't seem to matter whether the player's aircraft is equipped with radar or any missiles; even if you're flying WW2 aircraft. Video shows Mig-15 vs Phantom, P-51 vs Phantom, Su-25 vs Hornet 1v1 - Mig-15 vs F-4E.miz
  2. Only reasonable inference, really. This is from an Osprey Duel book - If my elevators and (boosted) ailerons are locking up like 'cement' at high speed then why is my rudder strangely immune during all this? If it is correct then fair enough but to me it makes no sense.
  3. Excited for the Su, I've always loved the 'gothic' shape.
  4. When it's done well (Mig-21, Tomcat, etc) it massively enhances the immersion. Would love to see it made a standard feature across all modules and retro-fitted to older ones (my Mig-15 cries out for it!).
  5. Are you using open beta? I'm using stable and still can't eject properly.
  6. In the 'Systems' tab of the options look for 'Messages font scale' which adjusts radio text size etc. There is also a 'Scale GUI' option but I'm not sure if it applies to the ME text.
  7. Korea - the terrain can be adapted for the 1950's and modern scenarios, and might encourage the creation of more Mig Alley aircraft.
  8. Hope to join you in the new year, I've been enjoying the Twitch videos. Can I ask where you got the black dashboard for the Sabre? I did find an all-black cockpit mod but can't get it working.
  9. Quick bump for this - the rudder remains fully effective at any speed. Along with the FM I hope the Mig and Sabre interiors get some modern love like the Mustang and Ka-50, or a paid-for version 2.0.
  10. It's my own missions, and with a totally fresh install. Head tracking and 'smooth' panning all work OK, but additive snap won't let you check six.
  11. While using additive snap views I can't see past 90° in the horizontal. (It's not specific to the Mig-15 btw). Up & down is also limited to +/-90° so that's more or less realistic; but horizontally it's impossible to see beyond the wings, let alone behind you. When using the other panning methods this limitation is absent (shown mid-way through video), it seems to be only additive snap. I've poked around in the Server.lua etc but I can't find any way to 'fix' it. Any ideas?
  12. Trying to find the center point after trimming can be difficult, and it'll be most notable in the roll axis if you're even slightly off-center. Try CTRL-T to reset the trimmers to neutral (if the module allows it). If the aircraft continues to roll one way or other then the problem lurks elsewhere.
  13. Instantly recognizable name from ye olde IL-2 days - RIP.
  14. Nah, it's definitely wonky. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=222109
  15. This? It's been around since release (2012). Here are a couple of threads about it. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=91846 https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=230091
  16. During testing I've run 67 for a good 30mins at 3000rpm. Lowering the revs will get you a bit more speed but the engine dies a lot quicker.
  17. There used to be an ultra setting available in-game but it was removed. Don't know why.
  18. It can be done with the Track-IR software - you just need to dial in a hard limit in whichever plane (x,y,z,etc) is causing the 'break-through'.
  19. This can happen if there are two instances of Opentrack running simultaneously.
  20. If you mean the awkward way your head/neck 'twists' when looking backward then you can fix it by moving your seat position (not FOV) an inch or so forward. Try it - it makes a huge difference! I think the devs were trying to be helpful because of the armoured head-rest but in practice it's a nightmare.
