  4. ogerman i hope you are right, but i know one issue that still hasnt been fixed and its basically a 2 minute fix, for the ka-50s custom skins, so that other people dont see it as bright orange. The hud not being fixable has been in the game for how many years now? I find it hard to believe that its that hard to fix. the shkval has been driving me crazy, especially the .5km thing, Shurugal explained, which has even caused the aircraft to plummet nose first into the ground, when going in low and fast hunting sams. well at least ED is going to fix one thing with the ka-50, maybe next patch well get a fix for something bigger.

  8. The old map will get some benefits, things that are dont by the renderer. · EDGE allows for Direct X 11 support · Dynamic shadowing of the terrain and mountains · Higher object count · Better graphical effects these seem about right.

I dont know why people even thought of the old map being on the old engine, the amount of logistics problems that would cause, and the time it would take to do anything is simply insane, and i understand even less why people are still confused, when ED said it will all be in the new engine. no offense to you eagleeye it isnt pointed at you.

  16. to lock effectively you need to aim the shkval slightly in front of the target and press the lock button, this is because of network lag, also when engaging air targets its recommended that you put the salvo mode on medium, so that you fire 2 vikhrs increasing your chances of a hit. you should aim for the engines, as much as you can, especially when engaging hinds, those bastards are tough. If a huey is close to you your 30mm can wreck it pretty easily, you can also out climb it and outmaneuver it use that to your advantage (the hueys weapons cant aim very high), and at close ranges having the gun static is pretty useful as well.

  19. So in MP the EWRs wont respond if you ask them something. but they do respond in SP. also im getting this problem with the names the names dont have 3 numbers in them its just 1... like in the screenshot below
  20. it removes the need to reset trim, or fumble with the rudder trim, because aircraft starts spinning when i get into hover.
  21. basically removes the trim function from the rudder, so it is no longer affected by trimming, and always returns to center.
  22. the moment you turn heading the pilot on, the helicopter will begin to rotate toward the target. i dont know how it is with trimmed rudders, since i use a centralized rudder trim, mod.
  23. the vikhr piper wont line up perfectly, especially for the outer missiles, so youll have the maneuver it a bit, and the gun can swivel, its gimbal limits are the box you see when you select it
  24. you need to have the heading pilot turned on, it doesnt matter if you have a lock on a vehicle, the helicopter should turn, to where the shkval is aiming.
