yeah in 1.2.7 you achieve LA at a very good distance when against a head on target, in 1.2.8 Head on, LA is always achieved at 3 km, not matter if the target is after burning or not.

another Off topic thing is, the Su-27 seems to be made out of cardboard, all surfaces just fall off the moment a missile hits you, it kind of makes the damage model pointless.

seems if its head on, it doesnt matter if its after burning or not, if its even slightly off, it locks at 8-10 km. I have no way of conclusively showing it, since the AI, doesnt want to cooperate and keeps turning off their after burner at the last moment. With that said the AI always shoots their IR missile at 3 km, with or without my afterburner being on.

switch to the gun, or point down, thats the only way.

Ive bound almost everything in the ka-50 to my keyboard, and barely ever touch the switches anything with my mouse, apart from start up. OH NO!!! I have sadly become a dirty Flaming cliffs peasant. the only good thing about switches it eases the learning curve.

you save your controls in a separate folder, for example on the desktop, and then you load them back in after reinstalling, you need one file for the joystick inputs, and one for the keyboard inputs.
