  1. Nice, I'm looking forward to it. I guess that font is just WIP placeholder, I have attached a detailed photo that shows how it should look. Pay attention to the shape of the numbers. From what I found, blue should be FS15180 (#1D599F), dunno about the orange, I can look some more...
  2. Alright, thanks :) I guess that wouldn't be an issue for me, as long as it works.
  3. What does that mean? I'm considering building this setup and I'd like to know what I'm getting into. Why those settings won't stay?
  4. Q: Will EDGE have [something that's not in the first post of this thread]? A: We don't know and nobody will tell us! ;)
  5. Yup. That's what I'm counting on because I want to build it myself (TIR is stupidly overpriced, I don't care if it works), but there's probably no way I could get a model with removable filter...
  6. Then use Sim. Some modules have it named as Sim, some Real. It's the same thing, you just don't want Arcade or Easy. ;)
  7. DX11 is 5 years old. Chances are, if your GPU can't support DX11, it doesn't matter because it's probably old crap anyway. ;)
  8. I must have a different DCS then (10x speed)
  9. View -> Dialogs -> Show liveries dialog. Small window pop up, on the left side you select the aircraft you're painting, on the right the livery you want.
  10. Are you guys using that modified high.lua? For me, that was actually the reason for the performance drop by itself.
  11. Basically: Standard viewer (in the Bin folder): - Will crash everytime you'll try to open it directly by clicking the exe - Need a batch file so it won't crash. -- If it's still crashing even when batch file, then unfortunately I don't know why - Displays all the textures from your normal liveries folder (\DCS World\Bazar\Liveries) and you can select the one you need with liveries dialog. - I don't think it can display textures from any other folder, so if you want to paint CoreMods aicraft (MiG-15, 21 etc..) which don't have textures there, you'll either have to make proper entry in \Bazar\Liveries folder with description.lua or use the standalone. Standalone (the one you download and install separately) - Shouldn't crash and therefore doesn't need a batch file at all, just click the exe - If it's crashing, try different version. - You need to put the textures manually into \edModelViewer\Bazar\TempTextures - If that still doesn't work, I don't know either... That's all I have up in my sleeves.
  12. No worries, I guess it's just got all mixed up for us. Standalone textures: I still find it weird that the standard modeviewer crashes for you though... it'll crash only when you run it directly but that's what the batch file is for.
  13. You should have batch file in the main folder with this parameter: bin\ModelViewer.exe
  14. Nope, just use the batch file to run that exe and that's it.
  15. This is actually in that thread I linked before: 7) Help! I get "Warning Missing Texture" in place of my texture!! A) Put your textures in \Bazar\TempTextures of your Modelviewer install. So I guess that's it. That's why I'm using the included one, because it's using standard liveries folder and I can switch in between skins if I need to.
  16. I'm using the included one, but if I remember correctly, you have to put your textures in TempTextures folder in your edmodelviewer installation.
  17. There's a modelviewer.exe included with DCS installation in \bin folder that has to be open with batch file. Standalone, the one that you download and install, should open on its own.
  18. I had the same problem, but maximizing actually solved the it. Does it crash with some error or just closes when you hit maximize? Have you tried working with standalone version? By the way, are you just clicking on that thumbnail or right click - maximize? Only the latter works. Modelviewer is open, only somewhere out of your desktop where you can't see it.
  19. Is the batch file 100% correct? Does it not open at all or can you at least see it on taskbar down there?
  20. All the relevant stuff is in the first post. When they will have something for us, they'll do another update thread and there will be a FAQ on leatherneck site coming soon as well ;)
  21. I posted this on the previous page. Incapacitated copilot doesn't mean you can't get into the cockpit. You can't get into the cockpit when somebody in there doesn't want you to. ixEHV7c3VXs
