  1. OK, I have read every single page in this thread and I am on board. Please add me to the list and congratulations on creating a great and highly desired product!
  2. 3 slots is a deal killer since I use all of my slots so have to go the 3080 route. Anyway, outside of 8K, by the time the 3090 will truly matter, it will be time for the 4080 which will outpace the 3090. Now if they could get the 4090 down to 2 slots...but with that GPU and an insane number of memory chips, that will be tough in terms of keeping it cool.
  3. That's the best looking and best layed out button box I have seen and I have an empty space waiting for it.
  4. I will take you word for it since that was merely an assumption on my part. Good to know though.
  5. It's disappointing they are using poorly 3D printed hat switches on 600+ dollar collective handles. I would rather pay more and get hats on the level of CH Products quality. I think Virpil is going to eat Kamodo's lunch and at a lower price point for the collective base and collective grip.
  6. ;) Extremely adjustable, small form factor and proven longevity. Sans several grand hydraulic rudder pedals, I wouldn't want any other set under the $1000 price point. The most important item for me in that price point was adjustability.
  7. Uh, yeah. I am so buying this. I don't need it, but I sure as heck want it. It's a beaut! Congrats on a great looking product!
  8. The detents on the Warthog throttle are not a hindrance to me because they can quickly be swapped out. I don't even have to use the detent cover and they stay and place. To each their own and every throttle has their strengths and weaknesses and even those strengths and weaknesses are largely opinions.
  9. Reverb now, Reverb 2 soon although performance hit but 3080 should help. Either way, I can't go less than the Reverb x when it comes to resolution.
  10. The XL without a doubt. Due to having just over twice as many buttons, it gives you a lot more flexibility when it comes to creating categorized pages.

    Totally done

Final home cockpit. We all say that. We all end up wrong.
  12. I don't see much point to the Brunner unless it supports IL2 or DCS and preferably both. I like civ sims, but prefer using a yoke since most of those aircraft have yokes.
  13. That may be true for mass produced products like Logitech and Thrustmaster but not for boutique products like this and I don't think it's a stretch to say most Virpil owners even read and post on either the IL2 or DCS forums or both. These are unique low production number products. The average consumer of "joysticks" hasn't even heard of Virpil, VKB, Winging, etc.
  14. They do have some work to do. Quality parts or quality design does not equate to quality assurance/control.
  15. VKB shipping is on point. I ordered a couple of days ago and it will arrive in Texas on Monday barring post shipping delays but that won't be on VKB.
  16. Better than the new Reverb when it comes to the vertical FOV. It's no contest when it comes to IQ in favor of the Reverb and that even applies to the G1. It depends on what is most important to people.
  17. That's why I said, "...and that's being nice." I would have been ticked if that happened to me so I get it. Initial impressions are great product wise, but we'll see where things are at down the road.
  18. I received mine and I live in Texas. I ordered a few weeks ago and that was with a delay due to ordering the native power cable extension since they were out of stock on that. It seems the big hiccup and that's being nice were those who were the early adopters.
  19. Dude. Dude! Duuuuude! Great work! :-)
  20. "Black horse on the market" That sums up that video for me. Try "dark horse" next time.

    Jetseat

LOL. Thanks! At 200 bucks, I'm willing to take the risks knowing what I knew going in. Now if they were 1000+, yeah, I would have to wait until they prove themselves.
  22. Seems like an odd choice. A non-specific yoke and non-specific throttle quad makes more sense imo.

    Jetseat

I ordered one on Monday of this week. I live in Texas, so we'll see if I get screwed or not on the deal. I knew the risks going in.
  24. It replaces the slew control that is like the Playstation Portable analog nub i.e. terrible with this: https://deltasimelectronics.com/ It's a must IMO.
  25. They're going out of their way to show civ aircraft. Maybe their first flight yoke and maybe throttle quadrant in preparation for the new MS Flight Simulator release this year.
