  1. +1 on this correct, and another thing being that every now and then, mods get broken by new updates, which is really a shame. why not have 3 different FARP heights (current, flat and intermediate) to solve the terrain placement problem?
  2. yeah that "driving mad" thing is a good point. sure, but other than that, personnally, i like the idea of no-text-voice-only...anyway thanks for considering, and very special thanks for V6!! : )
  3. @ lex & g b thanks a lot for taking the time to clarify! very much appreciated
  4. hi bankler, very much appreciate your work, in fact, i am almost using exclusively your mission to train traps. thanks a lot again! although i find razi's suggestion useful in some cases, i am kinda having the opposite request, if this is not too much asking: do you think it would be possible to add AN OPTION for voice-overs to the radio messages all the way through the case 1 pattern? i think it would add to the immersion not having to read text while you're flying. plus, having a voice telling you what you did wrong the moment it happened, would not only be more effective, but also really cool, almost like having an FI in the backseat. do you think that would be feasible? maybe start voicing only messages pointing out errors? thanks hilok
  5. guess i'll have to try that out then, thanks
  6. really would love to understand what that "influence the nose" thing is all about. is it like dampening the jets pitch oscillations, or is it about helping the jet overcome inertia/quicker getting back on glide path? or sth else? thanks
  7. hmm, don't know, sorry. should be possible to select multiple units though, and copy/cut paste into another place within one mission. but you can try, maybe it works, when you open another mission. this is how multi-select (should) work https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160826
  8. there's a template included in the F18 single player missions, if you want to take a look at it.
  9. are you guys by any chance referring to the new SC CASE I mission? cause i just tried bankler's v5.2.0, and it doesn't feel that much different than before. even after editing it to replace the stennis with the SC. the SC CASE I mission DOES feel a lot different, and i am starting to think it's because it has wind shifting from 30kt at 1600ft down to 15kt at see-level, where bankler's has NO wind at all...
  10. :megalol: you're killing me! what do i have to do to get lex that angry?? :D
  11. yep! sth definitely feels different. unable to pinpoint exactly what it is though...
  12. hey dark_wood, thanks for the hint! unfortunately, i wasn't able to get hq4dcs to show any more voices...thanks anyway! cheers hilok
  13. great news! thanks a lot!! : ) if this is not a big deal to do, or too much asking, could you please add some more MS voices to the radio msg generator? this tool is very convenient to quickly add voice-overs to any text-only mission, but currently limited to 3 voices only  thanks hilok
  14. i think FC3 / MAC could build a bridge for these kinds of projects, as long as too many things are classified. at a later point these modules could be moved to hi-fidelity... personally i dont see that balance would ever be an issue. this is a matter of mission design. besides, there's already a eurofighter project ongoing.
  15. looking great, thanks for your efforts ! : )
  16. +1 absolutely necessary!! but must be combined with linearity in between detents (every 'inch' of throttle travel yields the same amount of joystick axis change) vs. non-linear interpolation between detents (where every 'inch' of throttle travel would yield an increasingly increasing or increasingly decreasing amount of joystick axis change). here's my personal experience, again, after several weeks of flying using curves on my throttle. i reverted back to "no curvature", and all i can say is wow! how natural and easy thrust control felt using the linear mode. that seems to happen every time i am switching between curvature and linear mode on my throttle, flying the same a/c and using the same throttle over weeks: after some time i am getting somehow used to the curvature, but switching back to linear is like a blessing. that doesn't seem to apply to curves for all other flight control axes, though.
  17. thank you very much, Rudel_chw. that's great !! : )
  18. 2020 and still that issue seems to persist on the free flight and practice mission (user files). does anyone know a workaround? thanks.
  19. hier: http://bergisons.simpit.info/motion-integrated-g-seat dauert noch a bisserl bis zur serienreife : )
  20. nice! will have a look at this. thanks : )
  21. there's already an awesome job done on the F-16 by Pegasus. have a look here: https://www.xflight.de/pe_org_doc.htm
  22. wasnt able to figure out all of it, but at least some points in your list. have a look here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=271197 cheers hilok
  23. great job, man! thanks a lot for sharing! : )
  24. :D we'll see
  25. thanks for your feedback, biggus! as i am writing this, there are still not even 3400 votes, so it made sense to me to do a little research, and add some more information.
