  1. maybe try this? should allow you to rearrange pages: http://www.dcskneeboardbuilder.com/
  2. some info can be found here: https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/F/A-18C#Real-Beam_Ground_Map_.28MAP.29 although i very much appreciate watching wags' YT clips, i have to agree with this. especially, because part of the content becomes obsolete, after some time, as the module is developed further.
  3. hi funkyfranky + team, thank you very much for these awesome contributions to DCS. guess i am currently just scratching the surface by using RAT + ATIS, but that might change with 3.0, when accessibility is made easier. thanks a lot for this! cheers hilok
  4. great stuff, khopa. thanks a lot for all your hard work!!
  5. from what you are saying, when using TRACKIR, i'd also recommend a big screen, preferably 4k. works great for me, no readability issues. you won't see more percentage of the world in 4k compared to 1080, but it will be sharper. on the other hand also more demanding hardware-wise...
  6. yep, TM's version is a 5 way switch, 4 cardinal directions + press, such as the SCS. while we're at it, is anyone of you guys experiencing problems with the press function of the weapon switch? -sometimes i am having difficulties pushing it in without tilting it to one of the other directions, thus not activating the sidewinder... thanks.
  7. i think he's being sarcastic. just read his signature... :smilewink:
  8. wurde mehrfach berichtet und wird bereits untersucht... https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=278253
  9. recently had the issue with the runway/taxiway markings on & off as well during birdman81's interceptor campaign. it's on caucasus/senaki-kolkhi https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3311145/
  10. thanks for sharing, wags. much appreciated! cheers hilok
  11. good to see i am not alone
  12. thanks for pointing this out
  13. good idea +1

+1 here. happy to see, i am not the only one feeling that way! before last update, i found the AMPCD MAP more crisp and readable. btw the readability of the CRT DDIs now is exaggerated in my opinion. as a matter of fact, CRTs tend to be hard to read, when the sun is low in real life...
  16. the reason it is so slow is to prevent getting into vortex ring state, obviously. personally, i use it depending on the situation, but not for landing.
  17. +1 and i do fly a lot in overcast/foggy conditions. maybe the best solution could be adding an option in the future, similar to easy comms etc. for people having a hard time reading the gauges or mainly HUD and MFDs, i suppose.
  18. just my 2c, in case you are considering this. although basically a very good piece of hardware, i found the virpil warBRD (not CM2) base awful in combination with any TM grip, as these are too heavy in relation to the springs used, which leads to having too much inertia in every movement of the stick. i've been using the TM base & grip with an extension of 75mm for quite a while now, and am very happy with that. curves set to +20, no deadzone. AAR: when you get the probe into the basket, look out your front and get a reference point of the tanker's structure in relation to your HUD. in my case the basket's fairing would be in between the HUD top and the canopy. keep your reference point in place using the stick. next get another reference point to your right (left) side that is in touch with your canopy. typically i pickup the tanker's fuselage markings or the tail hook. now use the throttle to keep that reference point in position. you will have to look a bit up in order to do this. that's the best technique i found so far... also: better train for 10 min every day than having 2h refueling terror sessions once per week
  19. +1 this really neeeeds to be looked at !
  20. +1 very well said. thanks Andre, but let's not forget f4l0 : ) thank you guys, you're doing an outstanding job!
  21. in the meantime, you can have a look at ftx/orbx. it's for other sim platforms, but still nice to fly in. https://orbxdirect.com/product/pnw https://orbxdirect.com/product/us-washington
  22. i see. to which speed is that threshold set, then? i was running my tests around 70kts, iirc, but no effect. thanks
  23. thanks. for the record, during my tests, i set anti-skid to off, observed the a/c from external view as to confirm the wheels blocking, and i had the wheel blocking effect set to 100%...so according to the statement above "This effect is played if you slip over the tarmac with no spinning wheel.", it should work, shouldn't it?
  24. hi f4l0, today i noticed that wheel blocking has no effect on the hornet. couldnt find any posts on this topic, so just wondering, if this is a known issue? thanks hilok
  25. good job, hueyman! i am confident the huey will be updated at some point.
