Not a high priority bug for me, specialy considering that the F-14 still doesnt have exported displays, as far as I can tell. But when DCS is set to use a second monitor for display extraction, Jester's UI will be centered between the two monitors. Not only on my main one (I have DCS UI centered on the main only) A second Bug, but related as far as I can tell, with the same conditions, the cockpit Markers (for cockpit tutorials) are not centered on the intended controls and display a "floaty" behavior.

Yeah preaty much what everyone said: Ext Pwr swith to reset and Hold then release. Then go through each of the 4 Ground power Switched holding for 2 secs in the A On position.

Eagerly waiting! Never was my favorite bird out there, but the Tomcat is the Tomcat and there's no denying that. What is absolutely amazing is the detail on this module. Also it's so diferent from everything else we got so far. I haven't got the Viggen yet, but it's been on my wish list for a while, very impressed with everything I hear about it, the dedication and suport that are still going into it, the working ground radar, etc. Anyway... ended up getting up the Tomcat first and I suspect that Heatblur is easely going to become my favorite developer for DCS.

Ups... Should be corrected now.

Here is a sketchup file I once did based on Brenda's Aces II plans. Brenda's plans were made free to download long ago on viperpits, but they were PDF stencils. So I made this Sketchup build to help me prepare for a real Build. Never quite completed it, but I figured it was enough to plan a real build. https://drive.google.com/open?id=12Bh0gHbjOfYIsq86GzbHNYZeauTRzIpq

Well you could make it thicker for eye candy, But it would come to an abrupt reduction at the base connector. I think that design would look a bit off. Unless you were planing on covering that end with a boot of some kind.

I would rather have the paddle than not.

Multi-monitor set-up guide & help (unofficial)
lxsapper replied to MadTommy's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
Thanks for the willingness to help guys but I think cichlidfan and Zarma have this right. Can't really be done, I'm not a newby when it comes to Configuring multiscreen setups in DCS, I had just had never tried this particular setup. I was able to get everything where it needed to be, but had to set DCS for the full resolution of the 3 displays and that leaves the top screen black and to the foreground of anything you are running in windows (except aplications that can run on top of DCS, like hellios for example), so no good for discord of PDF readers etc. Other than that it can't be done by the usual coordinates you use on your monitor config LUA. When DCS is set to a bigger resolution that that of your main screen it will always start at your top and left most monitors, with no other setting to change it (wich was what I was asking about) I don't belive it can be done. -
I'm going to take a gess here.... check if you have the "Displaced Neutral" option in Joystick mode, enabled in the Special options TAB. This should only be used with FFB Joysticks, if you have a non FFB you should use Linear or non-linear depending on preference.

In adition to the HUD and Radar that already have been reported and acknowledge by Wags, the AoA indexer lights are also messed up (missing texture aparently). This can be seen in pictures people uploaded in the HUD thread. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3817671&postcount=2

Multi-monitor set-up guide & help (unofficial)
lxsapper replied to MadTommy's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
Hello, I'm trying to do a very specific configuration, but I'm having a hard time with it. I know how I could get around it (By moving the top monitor in windows configuration from the top to the very bottom or left), but I'm trying to avoid that solution. I'm trying to help someone setting this upm they have 3 screens in a vertical config, the top is to be left for other things outside the Sim (discord, etc). The middle is to be the main view screen, and the bottom one is to show The MFDs, etc. The problem is that DCS always wants to start rendering at the top screen when a resolution bigger than the main screen is used. Is there anyway I can get DCS to ignore this screen? -
Possible to use two of the same joystick?
lxsapper replied to Mt5_Roie's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Yes you will be fine. Each will show as a separate controler, just with the same name. PeterP's two MSFF2 solution relies on it, I am finishing my own version of the mod myself and it works fine. -

Also interested in those MFDs in case dealing with Rogue54 doesn't go through. -

Comms menu keeps popping up

Then I'd say you have a problem. Maybe reach out to Hollywood in the offitial thread? -
Was not talking about the render distance, but LoD (or even Render distance) as a function of render distance. It's not tied to distance, like you very well observed, but to how many pixels the object is suposed to be when rendered at that distance and FoV.

Comms menu keeps popping up
lxsapper replied to BoneDust's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Very strange. But then again reading the manual I found out that it should self update with DCS updates. It has never worked for me that way. As for the Luas there are quite a few files. See pg 33 of Viacom's manual. -

What is strange to me is that you don't notice it, with each DCS update. -

Comms menu keeps popping up
lxsapper replied to BoneDust's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
If you delete it, it won't contain the changes needed by Viacom. In fact the file getting deleted and recreated by DCS is causing the problem. -
Comms menu keeps popping up
lxsapper replied to BoneDust's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
The Lua Viacom alters in DCS, gets overwriten with updates. If you go to VIacom config. Ctrl alt C, within voice attack, there is a TAB named reset. Uncheck everything except the Lua, and hit the reset button. -

I don't know if the resolution you are refering to is to one I posted there. But I get this issue with every DCS update, and doing it allways fixes it for me. Just reset your LUA code (not the whole thing, just the LUA) via VIACOM Config reset tab. -
It's not factually correct that Zoom/FoV change changes your/camera distance to a viewed object. In fact the two are quite diferent. But for the matter of this subject you are not entirely wrong, as I belive that LOD level is directly tied to square pixels ocupied by the object on screen. So not exactly distance, but something to that effect.
