  1. RIM-7 Sea Sparrow fired by ships do not track airborne targets, but only fly in a straight line and explode. Tested on DCS 2.5.6.59398 Open Beta.
  2. Ohh wow. Those are looking good indeed...
  3. Looking forward! Ships that bridge the gap between big scary destroyers/cruisers and small boats like Molniya are needed the most in DCS. Ships like the above Tarantul and maybe things like Knox-class frigate or something. Thanks again for your work!
  4. I look forward to seeing it in action! DCS badly needs ships that are less lethal to planes, like the above Tarantul class, ships that don't require planes to carry Harpoons to attack them with. Thanks!
  5. ED needs to put these ships in base game. Amazing work! Is your Spruance also going to get released?
  6. This addition has just made this the best map in the whole of DCS for me and my squadron! Thank you Ugra Media!
  7. There was a "mini update" in yesterday's Tactical Pascal interview with Kate Perederko. She said that Maverick and HARM testing is going well and we can expect it in next OB update.
  8. I can't see any of the pictures posted, says it "image not found or was removed". Anyone else have that issue? Anyhow Admiral189, I've been enjoying the San Antonio pics and cant wait to see your future mods! :)
  9. He literally has a top tier computer, his PC is not at fault.
  10. Polygon trigger zones are planned AFAIK. They should do the trick.
  11. Some Japanese and US naval ships would make an awful lot of sense for the Marianas. Maybe as part of a new Pacific Asset Pack? We can't expect ED to add them for free.
  12. Given that they've missed the AGM-65 Maverick release by 5 months and counting, we can safely assume that it is going to be a looong time before the listed features are released.
  13. Don't get your hopes up, this pretty much confirms that Mavericks are not coming this month.
  14. What kind of updates can we expect? Bug fixes, features ( beforementioned Maverick)?
  15. Hornet received substantially more features between June 2018 and February 2019 than Viper did between October 2019 and July 2020. In the same amount of time, Hornet received Mavericks, AMRAAM, HARM, laser GBU series, SA page, JHCMS, FPAS, and so on... Viper development has been and is significantly slower.
  16. Wags' comment on the Golan Strike video.
  17. AGM-65D Maverick is being worked on, but release date is TBA. The July 15th patch is focused on bug fixing, so you probably shouldn't expect it then.
  18. Russian CIWS (both AK-630 and Kashtan) can no longer engage AGM-65 missiles. This issue was also reported for Phalanx CIWS, which was fixed recently in patch 2.5.6.49798. Can the same fix please be applied for Russian CIWS also? Thank you. Patch note:
  19. Please read the following and adjust your expectations accordingly.
  20. Will at least the land mass be there? Or will it be just empty sea?
  21. Will this map include this airfield for NATO air operations?
  22. When Viper was in pre-purchase period, ED assured us that Viper & Hornet were two different teams. It was only later when F-16 was released, when they reversed the statement.
  23. New guy is not to blame here. Being assigned to a project while its already well on its way sucks. And that is on top of having little to no guidance, becasue senior staff is working on Hornet. He has my sympathies. This is a management issue.
  24. It's been 8 months since the release of the Viper. And for the past 6 the only "major" updates have been brighter lights and gun sight.
  25. Hornet got 5 updates today. Will Viper get 1? The one first scheduled for April?
