I found some players cannot rebind their thrust axis mapping in Input window.
If you are familiar with text editor and lua file modification, please follow the attached screenshot for a quick fix
1. navigate to saved game/dcs.xxx/config/input/jf-17/joystick/
2. open the device_xxxx.diff.lua using text editor (non windows one)
3. locate the AxisDiff section and then the section with name "Thrust" (red)
4. delete the whole subsection for name "Thrust" (blue)
5. same operation for wheel brake
* If you are not familiar with the diff.lua modification, you may need to delete the diff.lua, and rebind all your device mapping.

In OB 2.5.6.

JF-17
Fixed: AG radar EXP/DBS mode render (Thank ED)
Fixed: AG radar DBS1/2 image refresh
Fixed: RWR database cleared after repair
Fixed: WMD7 bypass BIT in cold start
Added HNS initial implementation
Adjust INS FAST/GC drift
Adjust MFCD/HUD/UFCP brightness when born at night
Removed wmd7 ir pointer (for debug purpose)
Removed “mimic” echo (white dots) in AG radar MAP mode
if it doesn't hurt, you can delete the diff.lua file for your virpil in saved game
if you know how to edit diff.lua, please open it using npp, and find ["name"] = "Thrust" in ["axisDiffs"] section, and remove the thrust binding
it will be broken in the next ob update (Aug)
since ED just changed the exp render code, and we need to ask ED what has been changed and need time to make them work.
then why big airplane normally has relatively larger RCS?
yup, RCS is determined by many aspects. airplane size is one of them.
thunder has similar size of mig-21, so using mig-21 as ref is reasonable.
ED basically consider size (front cross section) plus a typical weapon for RCS in DCS. to make difference between airplane in similar size, other aspect like inlet etc should be considered.
ED states that mig-21 RCS 3 m^2 is solid based on various sources.
the RCS in DCS is for front cross section (regardless of material) and with consideration of a typical weapon
if RCS=3 for MiG-21, then JF-17 with DSI should have smaller RCS,
but ED insists JF-17 should have same RCS as MIG-21
Plan to deal with the INS issue for Sept update.
IRL, we didn't see wing flex in high G maneuver. So not plan to add this effect
the current cockpit model is how it looks like IRL, you can easily google the photo of real cockpit and compare. I don't think dirty/heavily weathered cockpit means 'real' for all.
checked the log,
there are several errors related to your mission script, a-4e-c mod, etc
also, the crash is related to graphic not jf-17
please try below
1. remove all your mods from saved game
2. create a clean mission without any script
tested, it's issue for hornet/viper, all fc3 has no rwr warning when bugged by tws
ed already knows the rwr power issue as stated in viper mini update (same for hornet)
