Oh one of our very own RNZAF SeaSprites. Nice find VanVerken. Watched one of these displaying just over a week ago, sounds mean and looks cool. Will see if I can drag some pictures or videos from the camera

Questions for Putting MFCDs on Separate Screen.

Hi Guys, I was going to start a new thread but Skatez, yours is a similar request so I hope you don't mind me jumping in on yours :P Main screen with 1080p HDMI connected 2nd Screen is 1360 x 768 which I like to have Helios on I also have a couple of iPads which I use to use with icontrol DCS Were I come unstuck is, this isn't easy for me to understand or configure (I wish it was all just drag and drop and presto). I just don't quite get it all. So I want to have the cougar MFD's showing the moving maps etc but they don't. Just the desktop background. Everyone talks about LUS's and Viewports but is there a beginner's guide, followed by a more advanced guide that includes Helios? Appreciate any help : ) -
Any update on the collective flim?

Do you have a picture of the risors?

Hi Pete, You have a number of great toggle switches and buttons here. Can you tell me where you got them from/ part numbers? I especially like the larger toggles i.e. master arm. Thanks Craig

Mule, love your vid. That is exactly what I was like until some explained the hover technique. Lots of practice later and love the huey. Now I just fly around landing on buildings to simulate a rescue or hospital landing. Landing on the skids at 40kts is cool too. Setup a frigate off the coast somewhere and practice flying out to it and back again. With an overcast day it makes for a cool simulation. :)

Yes, I'd prepay for both of those : ) then an A4

Here's one of our Herc's taking off at sea level. -
Dm, you are one lucky sob to find this, to be able to buy it and also have a wife that completely supports you in this. I have one question for you: What the hell do you do for a job because how do you fit everything in? x9

Nice pic Mainstay! My wallpaper at work now -
Frog, I like the sound of that. It would be like an aircraft conversion course. BeachAv8r - I would love to see the A4 and the A6 or even a prowler. I think the Vietnam era was enough to be more reliant on skills than technology but also still fast jets, mud movers, sead, carrier landings and refuelling etc. Would be mint. Flight of the intruder - all the way!

More maps will come. It's probably the easiest to start with to set the bar. By the time you get bored with it, there maybe more. As someone else wrote, at least we can spell and remember the names : ) Cannot wait for this and without sounding like a kiss up, thank your ED, thank you wags. Other than BF2 I've spent more time on DCS and Lock on than any other game. Looking forward to Glowing Amraam's next video : )

Maybe we are not on the same page, but in DEP settings you can "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:" and then you can add the exe We use this for some of our customers legacy apps.
-
Data Execution Prevention - by default this is on Another way is to be selective with what windows analyses: System Properties | Advanced | Performance | Settings | Data Execution Prevention You can tell windows to ignore exe files here by adding the DCS_Updater.exe Try that, see if that improves things.

Oh crap you are right, but it is certainly a price I'm willing to pay : ) I do feel for you guys with slow internet due to location. We have fibre in our street now so I've upgraded to 100MB/50MB with a 300GB data cap each month but the pipe out of NZ is so limited it's like 10MB down. Can't wait, that was a nice update Wags, thanks : ) But Skull, can't you just go to someone else's place/work and download it there?

Ryan, just spend what you want as your specs are good for everything : ) My rig does DCS perfectly. Use to have 3 x 23" LED's but now just use 1 large 55" TV and a smaller TV for Helios and it runs well on my specs. I did just upgrade my RAM to 32GB but I don't know if it really makes any difference on my current games (BF4 soon though). Save some money for later unless you have heaps. If you do have heaps, can you send me a 1TB SSD as well please :P If you do build that rig, post some pics...

I've had a number of customers say the same thing. I put it down to the fact it is made for a touch screen device. Anything else and it's shite. We still have customers struggling with Windows 7 and some of their legacy applications.

Please Revive this Diveplane : ) You seriously need to revive this Diveplane, I for one would purchase it
