  1. I will take a look as I do enjoy train busting. Thanks.
  2. Yes! Me also. Just the finest combination there is IMHO! Will never go to anything else. The throttle, I still cannot make up my mind. Looking at Super Taurus and Orion. The Orion will certainly fit my TM WH throttle base, but sofar, the issue is up in the air with the reports of the detents coming in and I'm a bit concerned about quality control coming out of WW.
  3. Works like a charm! Thank you for this! Cats . . . .
  4. It means long ago. I reported it and it was acknowledged as a bug. Vids the whole thing.
  5. I agree with the nose wobbling when it should be stable when all trimmed out.
  6. Definitely need many more airfields for the Luftwaffe. Difficult to build missions or even choose to fly Luftwaffe with the airfields currently in place.
  7. I'm wondering how the physical alignment is between the throttle arms and the HALL sensor. Could one be out of "alignment" physically just a bit. I don't have a schematic but would be interesting to see if there is a variance between left and right.
  8. Info on Throttle is here. http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=5054
  9. Reported long ago also for other maps and aircraft. Still awaiting a fix for quite some time.
  10. Hi Chuck:

Since you are closely involved with the development of DCS aircraft for your manuals, I want to pass on some still exclusive information.

In a previous simulator life, many years ago, I was on a development team as the Armaments and damage model guy. As such, l had  much historical and factual information at my disposal.

Recently, in discussion with NineLineNorm, (Norm), I had occasion to go over the statistics and loadout options on the Spitfire both during the battle of Bitain and in closing hostilities.

Norm, tested these loadouts including my recommendations and detailed info on specific bullet composition including their audio and visual effects. After initial testing, Norm advises that they appear to be much improved and what is more expected from the Spitfire.

At the moment, I believe that he is recommending changes to the devs. to accomodate these loadouts.

    Time will tell.

Just an FYI in case it matters to you.

(ps - convergence was also discussed re: box pattern - U.S. .50 cal. versus point conversion British and Allies.)

    Cheers,

    Cats . . .

  11. Follow-up: Notice that only one engine is bellowing black smoke. I purposefully targetted that engine and gave it more concentrated fire. The rest of the flames are because I rudder yawed along both wings igniting the fuel tanks only. Not bad so far from ED.
  12. Ha, ha. Didn't see it in your manuals!
  13. Just testing in 2.7 Despite the fires, it took a while to go down. All crew bailed safely.
  14. My thoughts as well. What is the use of a Pacific theater without the appropriate WWII aircraft and the carriers of that era. For me, 'build it and they will come,' does not work in this instance.
  15. Yes indeed! In 2dk, I have to zoom-out to see the dots as there is a large visual depth where one cannot spot contacts. Then, when assumed close enough, switch to default zoom or closer.
  16. The Jug is a great pleasure to fly in VR. To me, the best of the lot.
  17. It appears to me to be a difficult process to try and combine two different aircraft types into one system. Generic controls, IMHO, can handle this easier in the context that there is no specificity of aircraft type. By not producing two discrete designs, they may end-up by having a system designed by committee. (ie., a camel instead of a horse)
  18. I have the WH throttle and it is quite old and getting worn out. I will go for the Orion for the following reasons. The grip buttons are a replication of the F-18 button sequence. The base switches also are a closer match to the F-16 and . . . . an F-16 grip is coming. The throttle base will fit my FOX Mount base I use for the WH throttle. So, I will not be mounting it on the desktop and therefore, the grip angle might be something for me to consider.
  19. I'm thankful for sure. Wanting to go for the Orion because the footprint will fit my TM throttle exactly. Cheers
  20. Just read on Discord from WW that this information is entirely false. Repeat FALSE!
  21. Well that put a hold on my purchase!
  22. Have my Warthog since they first came out. Long in the tooth like me and ready to replace. However, I have enough sticks. Just want the Throttle. Better happen soon as I will have to focus elsewhere - not to mention always being out of stock. Good stuff but ready to give up.
  23. He usually does as part of a release campaign of modules. I expect it shortly as I see the Mossie in the Web Page banner which also usually just precedes the video.
