  1. Thanks again, I'll give it a go. Cheers
  2. Thanks for the reply but this is for color and I need Font Size.
  3. Can anyone point me to where I can change the FPS Counter Font Size? Thanks
  4. Hi BTD, I think your cockpit sound with the hot-fix is superb. I have a full hi-end sound system connected and did some tonal testing. I found that when the bass is turned up, the new canopy wind sound is very rumbly and not realistic . . . . but when the bass is turned down/off so that it nears realistic cockpit sounds that I have heard watching vids of all types of aircraft, the sound is spot on. Many virtual aircraft enthusiasts like to hear the prominent rumble or "kicking in" of AB/Reheat. Regrettably, turning up the bass to satisfy this desire is applied across all of the sound envelope. In this case, I don't think that prominent AB/Reheat and "realistic" cockpit sounds can be achieved together in high-end audio systems. For me, I choose to adjust my audio to achieve the best in-cockpit sound that I can obtain for my system at the expense of lower frequency sounds. Well done! Cats . . .
  5. Are you the Kadin from way back in the FB days?

    Back in the day!

  7. Anyone remember this award for ourside Beta Testing? Front
  8. I will take a look as I do enjoy train busting. Thanks.
  9. Yes! Me also. Just the finest combination there is IMHO! Will never go to anything else. The throttle, I still cannot make up my mind. Looking at Super Taurus and Orion. The Orion will certainly fit my TM WH throttle base, but sofar, the issue is up in the air with the reports of the detents coming in and I'm a bit concerned about quality control coming out of WW.
  10. Works like a charm! Thank you for this! Cats . . . .
  11. It means long ago. I reported it and it was acknowledged as a bug. Vids the whole thing.
  12. I agree with the nose wobbling when it should be stable when all trimmed out.
  13. Definitely need many more airfields for the Luftwaffe. Difficult to build missions or even choose to fly Luftwaffe with the airfields currently in place.
  14. I'm wondering how the physical alignment is between the throttle arms and the HALL sensor. Could one be out of "alignment" physically just a bit. I don't have a schematic but would be interesting to see if there is a variance between left and right.
  15. Info on Throttle is here. http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=5054
  16. Reported long ago also for other maps and aircraft. Still awaiting a fix for quite some time.
  17. Hi Chuck:

Since you are closely involved with the development of DCS aircraft for your manuals, I want to pass on some still exclusive information.

In a previous simulator life, many years ago, I was on a development team as the Armaments and damage model guy. As such, l had  much historical and factual information at my disposal.

Recently, in discussion with NineLineNorm, (Norm), I had occasion to go over the statistics and loadout options on the Spitfire both during the battle of Bitain and in closing hostilities.

Norm, tested these loadouts including my recommendations and detailed info on specific bullet composition including their audio and visual effects. After initial testing, Norm advises that they appear to be much improved and what is more expected from the Spitfire.

At the moment, I believe that he is recommending changes to the devs. to accomodate these loadouts.

    Time will tell.

Just an FYI in case it matters to you.

(ps - convergence was also discussed re: box pattern - U.S. .50 cal. versus point conversion British and Allies.)

    Cheers,

    Cats . . .

  18. Follow-up: Notice that only one engine is bellowing black smoke. I purposefully targetted that engine and gave it more concentrated fire. The rest of the flames are because I rudder yawed along both wings igniting the fuel tanks only. Not bad so far from ED.
  19. Ha, ha. Didn't see it in your manuals!
  20. Just testing in 2.7 Despite the fires, it took a while to go down. All crew bailed safely.
  21. My thoughts as well. What is the use of a Pacific theater without the appropriate WWII aircraft and the carriers of that era. For me, 'build it and they will come,' does not work in this instance.
  22. Yes indeed! In 2dk, I have to zoom-out to see the dots as there is a large visual depth where one cannot spot contacts. Then, when assumed close enough, switch to default zoom or closer.
  23. The Jug is a great pleasure to fly in VR. To me, the best of the lot.
