A little issue with the Supercharger...

The supercharger does work. It depends on the temp and altitude. Sometimes it'll come on a 15, sometimes 17 or 19k. It's really dependent on factors other than just altitude. -
Having to use straight AP ammo really kills the .50 cals, especially since their enemy counterparts have HE cannon rounds. APIT is too important to not have. I know that's only part of the problem and the other side of it is that for example, the 109 doesn't lose fluids like coolant or oil and will fly forever when damaged like that.

It's nitpicking, I know, but the Dora's wingspan is a little over 34' and the 109 is a little over 32.

I get what you're saying but you're kind of giving bad info to people. First off, you should be setting the correct range and use the sight to engage at that range. That's where your guns are zeroed and will do the most damage. Secondly, if you're doing high deflection shots, high g shots or short range, the gun sight is going to be off as far as the gyro is concerned.

Well, lets be honest here...the only good FFB stick is the MSFFB 2. That was your problem, using the G940 if you're using FFB.

I've also noticed that the aircraft commander is talking throughout the campaign, giving help. The problem is that the player is sitting in the aircraft commander's seat, for a helicopter. Again, not a big deal, but its noticeable to anyone familiar with the military and/or helicopter operations. It should probably be the copilot.

I'd very much like Vietnam era music. I think it's great for the immersion. As far as thing's I've noticed...so far it's just one; There needs to be some kind of notification at the end of each mission to let you know you can end the mission and move on. I'm only a few missions in but there's nothing to let you know it's ok to close it out and move on. I've sat for a while just waiting and wondering. Nothing to terrible, but an observation none the less.

Ok, for the life of me I can't find the line in CTLD to change the laser code. I'd assume it was near the top in the JTAC section but I don't see it. -

This is the only object mod I use. Since the last update it seems like the ammo crates, fuel and gen crates for sling loading have disappeared. I have a nice multiplayer mission that i'm almost finished with that requires those objects but they're gone for me. Can anyone else confirm? I was ready to move onto MP testing but can't now. -
Warthog vs MS FFB2 - new stick advice

I used a MSFFB for years and couldn't fly without it. I didn't want anything else....until I got my TM Warthog. It's just a better stick and throttle by a huge margin. As much as I loved the FFB, it's a low end stick compared to the Warthog. -
This, all of it. Also, get the senior NCO's out of the door gunner positions. lol Seriously, there aren't any 1SG's sitting back there unless they are getting a ride to somewhere. They need to be maybe E4/E5. It's really annoying looking back and seeing an E8.

What? lol The sight works fine as long as you have the correct range set and actually fire the rockets at that range.

Also, has this been officially brought up in the bugs section? I took a look and didn't see anything. That may help getting someone to look into it.

WE appreciate your work. It's great that there's someone willing and able to do something. Hopefully they'll fix the EGT problem AND get us the proper power to go along with it. As is stands, from what I've read, we should have more power/take more to get to, the EGT limit.

I agree with taking less fuel but that's "gaming" your way into a position that you shouldn't have to. While I agree that having fuel in the center tank is a no no when you're fighting, you should be ok at 50%. The thing is, you're not, at least in this sim. I think a lot of it has to do with the IFF equipment in the same area as the center tank. It kills the CG.

Are they going to look into this? As is stands, having the IFF gear in there is like having fuel in the center tank, you don't want to fight like that. It would be nice to have the option to remove this IFF junk. I'm not sure why the three WW2 fighters we have happened to be the rarest of the rare. I hope in the future we get more common aircraft with more common loadouts. ETA nvm, I see they will be updating the 51 to a more common loadout. That's good news.

This. You just can't fly this sim with a keyboard. Maybe warthunder, but not this. It would be ridiculous to think you could. Not trying to be rude but you shouldn't expect much if you're only use a keyboard. A joystick at minimum is required and tbh, pedals, throttle and trackir. -

I'm glad this thread is going. It's something I've noticed long ago and have been really annoyed with. There are too many times that you have to fly way out of limitations as far as the EGT is concerned to get and stay airborne in the Huey. There is no damage modeled what so ever. You can fly as far out of the green in the EGT for as long as you want and nothing will happen. I really hope they fix these issues. the Huey is my favorite.
