  1. All der ganze Netzwerk Traffic, der im MP hinzukommt und für den Datenaustausch und Synchronisation zwischen Client und Server sorgt belastet die CPU nochmal deutlich mehr als das im SP der Fall ist, wo all das wegfällt.

  4. Soweit ich weiß sollte da eigentlich gar keine Anpassung notwendig sein und Missionen die für Normandy v1 erstellt wurden sollten auch unter Normandy v2 funktionieren.
  5. Hmm, I was just flying as CPG two days ago and got the audio warnings. Make sure the CPG has turned his RLWR volume up, because it's set to 0 by default.

  8. Yeah, always let the player do the rearming that "hosts" the aircraft (usually the pilot) or otherwise weird stuff might happen.
  9. So does that bug still happen if you remove the A-4 mod? Such mods can have rather weird side effects. For example, the A-4 mod also causes engine sounds of ground vehicles to disappear.
  10. Uhm, that issue fixed here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/changelog/openbeta/2.8.3.37556/ I fly a lot as CPG in the Apache and for me the issue disappeared with this fix. It's not available on the Stable yet though.

  13. Gar nicht. Für Anti-Shipping ist die USAF F-16 nicht vorgesehen. Das sieht in der Realität auch nicht anders aus. Die USAF F-16 ist dafür nicht vorgesehen.
  14. Interesting, thanks! Did you let Jester control the LANTIRN or did you point it somewhere by yourself? I tried to reproduce your issue, but for me it shows up just fine with ST as well as with MT.
  15. Maybe. Can you please delete the content of the fxo and metashader2 folders in your DCS folder in Saved Games and then check the LANTIRN picture in MT again?
  16. Doesn't look greyed out to me. Usually the RIO just has to click on the RIO slot, after the pilot has slotted in. The pilot should then see a pop-up-message where he needs to confirm the RIO player to join his aircraft.
  17. Yes, there's a reason why it became such a big success. Of course it had some weaknesses as well, especially the early variants, but overall it was the best 3rd gen fighter that existed.
  18. Are you playing with multithreading or singlethreading? If MT, try ST and see if it looks better there. Would love to hear back
  19. Yes, the game mode was intentionally removed in that update, as the very low number of people that actually used it didn't justify the high maintainance that this mode caused.
  20. Yes, it's annoying as hell to me too, but apparently the Harrier lacks the option to remove them from the HUD.
  21. Diese Funktion ist meines Wissens nach nicht implementiert. Einfacher Zeilenumbruch mit Shift+Eingabetaste.
  22. Of course, scripting/triggering is kinda the same for me in this regard. My bad for not expressing it more clearly. What I meant to say is, that this is not something DCS actually simulates, but it's rather a forced behaviour by the mission maker, either with triggers or scripts or a combination of both.
  23. That's something custom scripted then, not something that is inherent to DCS and its simulation.

As @razo+r already said, the IFF system in the Spitfire (and in pretty much all the other WW2 aircraft that had such a system) was not for you as the pilot to identify other aircraft, but was meant for your own air defense to identify YOU. So it would have no effect in DCS, as air defenses in DCS don't do friendly fire anyways.
