  2. Gar nicht. Für Anti-Shipping ist die USAF F-16 nicht vorgesehen. Das sieht in der Realität auch nicht anders aus. Die USAF F-16 ist dafür nicht vorgesehen.
  3. Interesting, thanks! Did you let Jester control the LANTIRN or did you point it somewhere by yourself? I tried to reproduce your issue, but for me it shows up just fine with ST as well as with MT.
  4. Maybe. Can you please delete the content of the fxo and metashader2 folders in your DCS folder in Saved Games and then check the LANTIRN picture in MT again?
  5. Doesn't look greyed out to me. Usually the RIO just has to click on the RIO slot, after the pilot has slotted in. The pilot should then see a pop-up-message where he needs to confirm the RIO player to join his aircraft.
  6. Yes, there's a reason why it became such a big success. Of course it had some weaknesses as well, especially the early variants, but overall it was the best 3rd gen fighter that existed.
  7. Are you playing with multithreading or singlethreading? If MT, try ST and see if it looks better there. Would love to hear back
  8. Yes, the game mode was intentionally removed in that update, as the very low number of people that actually used it didn't justify the high maintainance that this mode caused.
  9. Yes, it's annoying as hell to me too, but apparently the Harrier lacks the option to remove them from the HUD.
  10. Diese Funktion ist meines Wissens nach nicht implementiert. Einfacher Zeilenumbruch mit Shift+Eingabetaste.
  11. Of course, scripting/triggering is kinda the same for me in this regard. My bad for not expressing it more clearly. What I meant to say is, that this is not something DCS actually simulates, but it's rather a forced behaviour by the mission maker, either with triggers or scripts or a combination of both.
  12. That's something custom scripted then, not something that is inherent to DCS and its simulation.

As @razo+r already said, the IFF system in the Spitfire (and in pretty much all the other WW2 aircraft that had such a system) was not for you as the pilot to identify other aircraft, but was meant for your own air defense to identify YOU. So it would have no effect in DCS, as air defenses in DCS don't do friendly fire anyways.
  14. Das die je fest eingeplant war wäre mir neu. Soweit ich das mitgekriegt habe fehlte es dazu an entsprechender Dokumentation (des Radars) und RAZBAM sagte immer nur, dass sie die B+ gerne machen würden, wenn sie denn irgendwann mal die nötige Dokumentation dafür hätten. Mehr nicht.

Bin zwar kein VR-nutzer, aber zumindest diese Frage kann ich trotzdem beantworten: Damit wird meines Wissens nach am Rande des Sichtbereichs die Maske eingeblendet die der Pilot trägt (bzw. wird es da einfach schwarz?). Damit lässt sich glaube ich auch etwas Performance sparen, da der SIchtbereich kleiner ausfällt.

  19. More like this: We currently have a modern TGP, which however is based on an old model and incorrect/missing data and thus modelled incorrectly. So ED decided to suddenly remove it and replace it with an older model that has less features but can be modelled correctly. But we will get the Sniper pod, which is still planned for "after early access"... which means 2024-5? I'm personally really happy with the decision to model things as accurately as possible and to change things if new info shows that it was implemented incorrectly before.

  22. It is not functional in DCS. It's just the correct procedure to turn it on.
