Sounds like you're switching your INS mode to NAV, while it should be in IFA to make use of GPS. Can you confirm this is the case? Pure INS navigation causes issues with CCIP in the current build. Thanks!

It can, IF the data-linked target is within your radards field of view. If the data-linked target is behind your aircraft or if there is a mountain between you, then your radar will of course not see it.

Was your buddy using ECM? The AIM-7 is Homeon Jam (HOJ) capable, meaning it can guide onto active jammers on its own. So this screenshot in itself doesn't necessarily show a bug.

JDAMs don't rely on GPS. They can be aided by GPS, yes, but they don't require GPS as they are inertially guided munitions. So using JDAMs without GPS shouldn't be a problem, as long as you keep your aircraft's nav system updated.

I'm glad you were able to sort this out! I'm also happy to see simmers transitioning from MSFS to DCS and since I'm not playing civilian flight sims at all, I'm really curious how you experience this transition? Is the depth of weapon, navigation and other aircraft systems overwhelming or is the difference to MSFS not that big?

These are jamming strobes, indicating that there is an active jammer in that direction. I'm a bit surprised by this decision, as Sharm el-Sheikh is probably the most famous location on the Sinai peninsula, which this map is about. And it's not just important because it's a large vacation ressort nowadays, but also because of it's military past (and present) :

Dann kann man Überhitzung wohl auch ausschließen (trotz der momentan sehr sommerlichen Temperaturen). In dem Fall würde ich dann auch auf ein Speicherproblem tippen, vermutlich ein defekter RAM-Riegel. Dass das nur bei DCS ein Problem ist, kann durchaus sein, denn so RAM-hungrig wie DCS ist sonst kaum ein Spiel. Von daher ist es durchaus möglich, dass nur DCS den defekten Speicherberreich addressiert. Eventuell auch möglich ist es (wenn auch weniger warscheinlich), dass die HDD/SDD einen Schaden hat und dort ein Speichersektor defekt ist, der von DCS verwendet wird.

Da scheint in der Tat wohl etwas mit der Hardware nicht zu passen. Mal geprüft wie die Temperaturen (GPU, CPU) ausschauen?

Now this is something I can very well relate to and is perfectly reasonable What's not reasonable is, to make up all kind of wild assumptions and then, based on these assumptions, wanting to punish a third party dev studio (OnReTech), that has nothing to do with all of this.

Well if you don't like the videos then maybe don't watch them? Other people are happy about having new footage to watch while waiting for release.
