Get the Rift S. Hands down. I've got an O+ and original rift and the O+ collects dust because it doesn't work well in DCS and your forced to use SteamVR, which sucks. I've got friends with the Rift S and I hear nothing but good things. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

I keep hearing this reasoning tossed around, but in my mind it doesn't add up. The Gazelle, for example, is technically "one pit" however it's cut in half just like the F 14 or L-39. The pilot uses some controls, the weapons operator others. Personally I think the back end for multicrew is there and totally functional, I think it's more incumbent on the third parties to update/utilize those abilities. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

I'm not sure about CTLD and weight for troops, but it does add weight for cargo, so I'll see about that. I'd definitely encourage you to look at CTLD. The options are amazing, don't be put off but that experience on the one server. You can really customize what everyone can or can't carry, and do some really cool things like dynamically building a FOB with sling load crates! The script is easy to use, just download Notepad++, and read the comments on the right of the various script lines. Hope it helps Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

I know this isn't an official fix from Polychop, but in the mean time might I recommend the use of the CTLD script? I use it regularly in Coop missions, it's outstanding. It will allow you to set the number if troops carrier by the Gazelle. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

I've seen this issue as a DCS bug with any ship spawned in as a late activation group in multiplayer, but I'm guessing that isn't the issue here. Sounds like an LOD model issue, but I'll have to let someone more qualified speak to that. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Sorry but I disagree with the above, respectfully. Those muzzles flashes are probably close to correct. Muzzle flashes are suppressed on small arms and ground equipment (some times) in order to avoid giving away a position in ground combat when able. Air combat is a totally different affair. Generally the aircraft mounted weaponry I've dealt with has MUZZLE BREAKES or recoil dampening muzzle devices. These devices actually increase the flash dramatically, due to gas forcing the blast as far to the sides backward as possible, in order to damped backwards reciol. I've got no doubt the flash on the MiG 19s cannon was massive. I agree it would be cool to see it made larger. The Tunguska video doesn't really make the case. The muzzle flashes during the day is still massive! Of course it's brighter at night. I've seen 23mm AAA and Shilkas fire in real life, in a very bright desert, and there was still a very large and noticible muzzle flash. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk

Is there still a default code used by GBU 12s in DCS, if one is not set by the aircraft? I seem to remember it being 1111 for some reason. Perhaps try having a JTAC lase on that code to see what happens... apologies if I recall incorrectly. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk -

This can be an issue with many modules, in both TIR & VR. My solution for now is just to not put my head through the glass :)

Yes, our pilots abode by the same rules if I remember correctly. They wouldn't adjust in flight, although I did hear of tubes being set for different distances as your discussed. The crew on our birds would refocus pretty often do complete tasks inside the chopper, but we didn't have flight controlls to hang in to all the time. All this being said- I still think the best and most realistic option would be to allows players to adjust their focus point as per the capabilities of the real NVGs. If the devs have any interest in my 2 cents- as former CH 47 Flight Crew I can tell you the NVGs we had could be refocused for inside the aircraft or outside the aircraft through adjustment to the apature. This was done by pilots and flight engineers/gunners regularly, because sometimes you needed to see inside or outside the bird. The ability to adjust focus would be awesome. I'm getting the bug where only up and down works with a joystick binding. Any update on this? Really loved Multicrew and the bugs were at least predictable in earlier releases but this bug breaks coop. -
Based on the fact that I have the issue in DCS, but the device works perfectly in other titles, even DCS when launched with ReVive, I would suspect it has to be a software issue. More specifically, Its between WMR/SteamVR and their interaction with DCS Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
