It hits the numbers. It a simulation of the A_10C No need for your expertise unless you also have a engineers degree. And a spare 1000 hours $$. To try and make it better and still hit all the chart numbers as it does now. Are you going to pay for these hours to TRY and get this web of equations correct because it feels off. Sounds like a costly enterprise.

do setting easy and LOGIC !! 》》 universal for all planes!
David OC replied to milanG's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Buy the FC3 plane set and it is exactly that. You can save each control column for the Su-25T and import them to each FC3 aircraft. The full fidelity are, well fidelity. So they are full simulations and are not the same and should not be. 3)Wait for MAC to come out. You can still choose to bind full fidelity how ever you want...... ED doesn't do this for you like simple controls for civi aircraft, like some other sims do. I.E civi = NO HOTAS setup -
You can use it now in DCS See screenshots of the A-10C "With Varjo's ultra-high resolution support for SteamVR and OpenVR content, the visual fidelity is crystal clear in the professional applications. These are unedited pictures shot through a competitor device and Varjo when using the DCS World simulator. " https://varjo.com/products/vr-2-pro/ R-2 Pro comes with advanced integrated Ultraleap. That looks cool too.

DCS halts on "Please Wait.." if in VR mode..?
David OC replied to Foxis's topic in DCS World Tutorial & Help Requests
Have you tried waiting:megalol: Seriously, doesn't it just stop. How do you exit etc. control alt delete? Strange. Latest NVIDIA drivers? Note: Also know need to uninstall / reinstall DCS. I'm on the same DCS from 2 PC ago + with all Updates. You can copy DCS to a drive and copy it back to new pc, copy it twice and change one version stable / beta or other old version etc. You just run a clean and repair etc, on the install and done. Also, Rename the save game folder. So you can copy back your control setup. -
Just remember that flight sims are one of the hardest things we can do on a home PC. You need all the power you can get to run one smooth. I go over it all in and where I started from and slowly upgrading.

Does your PC meet min? 2gb onboard grapics Minimum system requirements (LOW graphics settings): OS 64-bit Windows 7/8/10; DirectX11; CPU: Intel Core i3 at 2.8 GHz or AMD FX; RAM: 8 GB (16 GB for heavy missions); Free hard disk space: 120 GB; Discrete video card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 / AMD R9 280X or better; requires internet activation.

Very strange... Are you saying you cannot Right shift + L turn on electrics Right shift + Home turn on engines. Open up controls and try those keys once you load the jet. Does it highlight them when pressed? See me do that here Clear the axis on controllers that are not needed. Do you have a game pad or joystick plugged in? If the throttle is not at zero the engines will not start. See me set up controllers in the video above at the start. Edit: Note Also know need to uninstall / reinstall DCS. I'm on the same DCS from 2 PC ago + with all Updates. You can copy DCS to a drive and copy it back to new pc, copy it twice and change one version stable / beta or other old version etc. You just run a clean and repair etc, on the install and done.

Stutter While Recording
David OC replied to Grumpmeister's topic in DCS World Tutorial & Help Requests
I use action video recorder with the option use multicore on. Still on a 4 core pc and 1080ti, no problems recording 1440p @ 60. The only time you can use the GPU is when re-rendering for YouTube I was thinking, not in sim. -
You can download user made missions This is very helpful below Bankler's CASE 1 Recovery Trainer Lots of learning to do.... Understand AOA and why it's important to NAVY pilots for the Carrier landings. They are on discord too. https://discord.gg/td9qeqg

Aircraft bunkers at Vaziani (No collision on bunker walls) Tanks can drive and shoot right through them. At the other airfields with bunkers you can drive through the rear and out the front. Not in through the front.

DCS Beta hanging up and crashing at "Terrain Init: 1, navgraph" HELP!
David OC replied to WBenson's topic in Game Crash
Is that a fixed set pagefile? Pagefile: 10752 MB (10 Gig) That's a little on the low side if it's fixed. Try matching your ram at least or 32 Gig, that's what I do. -
It's mainly the last few patches are a bit wonky. The way I see it, major changes are being worked on and somethings will go wrong. Hopefully these are not to hard to fix. It's mostly in MP? Things like not being able to load from farp trucks at helipads and CA manual reloading vehicles from what I've seen.

Save feature for SP missions is essential
David OC replied to Basilone's topic in DCS Core Wish List
How about not asking for a save, perhaps an easy way would be to add the ability / option for the mission builder to have a new start location in the part 2 of that mission. From the Manual "If mission total values are 49 or lower, the player will fall back one stage. If the value is 50, they stay in the same stage. If the mission total value is 51 or above, the player will advance to the next stage. By populating a stage with multiple missions, each with different values, you can create a campaign that flows back and forth according to mission results. If two missions are assigned the same value range in a stage, the mission will be randomly selected. The assigned value range of a mission within a stage is listed in the Range column." At the moment you can have a randomly selected mission. 49 or lower, the player will fall back one stage 50, they stay in the same stage 51 or above, the player will advance So if there can be an easy option to have a side mission if at the 50% The player can chose to start at mid point of that mission (If only available and setup by the mission builder) You choose to replay said mission / play from part 2 of the same mission where the mission build wants you to start from. -
Did this long ago (external view is loud!!). Its had a few hits tho. Other case 1 to watch there too, video in video and controls showing. Link here

Save feature for SP missions is essential
David OC replied to Basilone's topic in DCS Core Wish List
This is more work for a mission builder, but you could make a save spot. End mission here. When you return you play a shortened mission from that position - Version 1.1. Not seen anyone do that? Is more work tho. Don't build missions this way. Build the first position and test that one spot. I drag myself around starting near the triggers, then play just that one little part. Drag chopper, aircraft to next section / way point save (Version 1.5) and play that part etc etc. You then play it right through when each segment is good. Not full start up, that's some real dedication right there. That's a perfect example if your going to make it "real hard". I would have a save spot for the user. You just start them from mission 1 part 2, 3 save point etc. Just move the aircraft to that spot (Air start etc). Just make sure this still works with your early triggers from then on etc. Force the earlier triggers in mission one to true. On mission start Flag 1 true, 2, 3 and 4 etc. Then move player and re save it as mission 1 part 2 etc. This is also a good example of why it's hard to save the mission mid way. You would need to make sure that the triggers are in a "finished state" or how you create the mission needs you to add save spot and all conditions end and are saved etc. -
How do we actually FIRE the laser from TPOD.
David OC replied to DmitriKozlowsky's topic in DCS: F/A-18C
So your saying ED "should not" build the aircraft to spec and modify the modules to be and work the same as the A-10C if applicable? Because in real life that's the best setup? ED should also make the MFD's screens be crystal clear and not make them look and behave like they are in the real jet. The sme's that have flown this aircraft would have said is correct or not you would think. You do not have to limit the way the HOTAS works. YOU can make it work the way you want to in DCS. With the harrier I have some MFD buttons on the HOTAS to change from wide, narrow and zoom in etc. -
Please tell me this is possible..... AI Wingman Orders

Please tell me this is possible..... AI Wingman Orders
David OC replied to blunt_waco's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
You can make most things "happen" with the editor. Here is a mission example with illumination over 3 zones. It will keep launching them each time you press them. Use the radio other menu to issue these orders, you can rename this to make it look like it's to the wing man etc. Mission file attached. Caucasus Ka-50 Target illumination.miz -
Latest beta build is a little wonky. Dcs really ain't like other games / sims. So much more going on everywhere etc. From many different ai, missile logic and ballistics etc. Lots of work being done also under the hood, rewiring the spaghetti. Clean out your fxo and meta2 folder if you haven't in saved games.

This is a real bad build to test on. Playing / testing with drivers also. What rez are you on? I was struggling to hold 60 at 1440P (MSAA x 4) on the river run (Nothing in that mission). Strange? GPU 100%. When I hold 60 on a very large server at max settings MSAA x 2? That's real real impressive if that's on the 4K screen. (43" Philips 4k-UHD TV) plus (3 TM MFDs on 2nd 24"display) https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4328595#post4328595 Or was it run at 1080p? Like the OP had. and is that just the (start screen)

You would need to test more, something out there with just a little research https://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1260?vs=1544&_ga=2.149128566.1961147420.1589547621-2064281394.1589547621 https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-4790K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-6600K/2384vs3503 Your chip is better in many area's to that chip.
