I need to update my name, it is showing as 'AKA_Recon' - it should just be 'Recon' How to fix this ?

Just curious, how do we know that to be the case - are we sure one doesn't cancel out the other ? I have heard mixed responses, is there a tool that shows that it's running at a certain resolution after everything has been applied to validate this ?

Acer has been mums the word unfortunately. I'm intrigued by their offering of an adjustable IPD , however, no information at all forthcoming.

Actually that is good they are supporting it right, they are going to offer you an updated next batch, that is a good sign that perhaps they have identified and fixed the issue. I'd take the deal - why not - if it fails a second time, sure, be done, but I'd at least validate the next batch solves and fixes these issues!

I'm in same boat. I love what I'm reading about the Reverb. Higher resolution is what I want. I'm not even just talking about in cockpit, I'm talking about outside the cockpit. I am running 9700k OC to 5.0 and a 1080ti. I get 80 fps with Odyssey at 200% and Rift S similar. I returned the Rift S though as the clarity outside the cockpit is just not that great to me. My biggest concern is IPD, I have 58 ( I think Wags said he was 59). So the options are Pimax 5K+ where I can adjust the IPD and get the better FOV - or - HP Reverb with the better resolution. One factor with Pimax 5k though is I'm going to not only need to buy a VR unit but I'll need to get a sensor and controllers, so that is extra $$ . (they have a bad model imo, everyone else includes this ???). Leaning toward the Reverb - better cost, better resolution... and hoping the IPD isn't a big factor...

I just picked up my Rift S, and I have the OTT I am OC to 5.1 and have a 1080ti card I still notice screen door effects in the sky I'm looking for the best settings to use - primary for longer range seeing contacts Please share your settings of you have Rift S Thanks!!!

Too bad really, If people want Ace Combat they can go play Ace Combat with their mouse and keyboard. MAC is opposite direction of what ED should be doing imo - let's get full fidelity conversions of FC3 aircraft - ie. F15C. People come to DCS for its simulation aspects not just to fly an arcade game.

I'd pay some serious cash for a high fidelity F-15C :)

While you are at it - I was in MP server with squadmates, after taking off from carrier - the nearest enemy is like 160nm away and Jester is telling me to check six and break right. Looked at F10, that was my squadmate who had a bogey on his 6 - so basically my jester was telling me what was happening to someone else ???

I'm only able to export to my 1st monitor , nothing shows up in my second monitor I tried with Helios and without it

I could use some help. I installed the Helios setup. Created an interface I have two monitors and I am trying to put the center mfd Hornet on second monitor. I see the control come up on my second monitor but the game only shows up on the main monitor.

Total CTD doesn't report....

Is there a way to see waypoints on the TID, or is it strictly limited to the NAV ? Also, I know and see TACAN with the TACAN button on NAV, but what about waypoints ? I'm not always sure which of the top buttons also needs to be on (ie. can I see waypoints/TACAN in A/A)

I noticed this on first spawn in as well, after that it works. I believe in last patch (had to roll that back right now with CTDs) it was working though

I recommend observing Jabbers videos, they are well done, then hop in the seat and learn.

documentation is terrible right now, the HB manual isn't very helpful outside of 'this is what a sparrow is' - like where where is the guide on using a sparrow as a RIO and as a pilot.

ok, not a bug not a very intuitive control setup as I did find the RIO settings and I had a controls double up with my ch rudder pedals

Wags, are you saying that although we will get LTWS that TWS still won't be available ? When is TWS planned then ??? All I've seen in all your posts is about LTWS.

That is probably my issue then, let me check - I went to 'Axis' bindings and only looked there, I'll validate and check back, I'm sure your right that I probably have it mapped multiple controls but I'll respond back after testing

This using same bindings as the stick correct ? Works fine, no issues with the front seat stick. I didn't see a separate HCU binding. I'm using default bindings haven't touched anything (warthog stick/throttle) The RIO is unplayable for me
