  2. FireFox: after doing some tweaking to your settings I am extremely happy with it- however; what paramater do I need to tweak to adjust the general gamma/darkness? I am happy with deeper and darker tones now- but the image is stilla bit do dark for my taste:)
  3. Thank you for this! Been trying to get my head around this for a few days- this sorted it nicely. Great starter preset provided too! I generally think that DCS is way to bright and is a bit lacking in colour and tone. This goes a long way to help:)

  5. Hey fellas. I have some questions about setting up a tanker in my missions. 1. Do I have to assign it enough waypoints to "keep it flying" throughout the mission, or can I have the tanker stay on one waypoint, on station, until is has to return homeeither at a set time or fuel state? 2: For some reason, I experience that tankers breaks from whatever route is setup and performs a very slow turn as soon as I request fuel. Is it not possible to have the tanker fly a racetrack pattern? Refueling in DCS is already hard as hell, but I can not get the tanker to fly straight on station. Ideally, I want a tanker cruising at 20-24 K doing 300 kts in a racetrack.

  11. Yeah- sure- hire away. I'd love to work at ED. I'm sure ED knows how to do this just fine. It's in the original Georgian map. Even Falcon BMS has it. My guess it that they 1: haven't gotten around to it yet or 2: Don't think its neccecary. Aerosoft sells (expensive) packages that do this for FSX. I have it. I looks great and does not effect performance. Google "night time environment" and have a look. http://www.simflight.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/AO_night-environment_british_isles.jpg The idea is that you use ground textures that has night time lighting baked into them. It does not cost more to render a texture with light than one without. However- I have no idea to the technicality behind it- but like I said, I'm pretty sure ED do.
  12. If it is an underlying light texture- it should not have to affect performance afaik.

  14. Are you guys getting NVG's in your modded Frankenhornets? I have been searching all over for a way to get NVG's for the F-15- but no dice. Is it possible? (Great pics also- all of them)
  15. The textures in the Mirage pic is Tjacobs WIP textures. He has no plans on releasing them but said that anyone could help themselves to using it and that I could share it freely. http://www.mediafire.com/download/qzb5ufbo94ou00u/Photorealistic+Terrain+by+TJacob.rar The F-14 is an older model that was available at that Russian site (forgot name- sorry). The model is still very old, although it looks pretty good in that pic, but it is way better than the stock one in DCS atm. Hopefully it will not be long before that changes:) The 707 is from the VNS ADA mod (See the mods section) and the scheme is appearantly the Russian "Air Force One".

  17. Also, eager to know if a tip/section of SE england has been included:) For me the pre-invasion strikes are some of the most interesting, and that would open up a LOT of campaign/missipn scenarios:)
  18. As one of the beta testers I can confirm these missions will be of extremely high quality. However, the project seemed dormant for some time (due to other projects I understand) does this mean that the testing is back and running?:)
  19. Holy cow that looks incredible! Is that in the latest version? Is the terrain bleeding through still?:)
  20. How can one see what files are conflicting with the integrity check? I have disabled all JGSME mods but I am still unable to connect. BTw- probably been asked, but will you consider to allow terrain rextures?
  21. I have a gtx970 16 GB ram and are used to fps in the 40-100 area. The FPS was in cockpit, and as far as a know, 1.5.3 had the updated mig cockpit also (with no fps loss) External model has no effect except good looks:) It is not critical for me as I don't fly the 29- I was just curious if others had the same
  22. Great update! Are anyone else experiencing noticable framerate drops when using mirrors? On 1.5.3 I only lost a couple of frames, when testing the new Mig-29A with mirrors on, I got a severe drop in fps. Same in F-15 as well, though that is the only one I have tested for now. (Love the switchable mirrors in the F-15 now btw- been longing for that:)
  23. I assume we'll see a bit more colour variation in the fields? Obviously this is early WIP- I just have a general obsession for the french countryside:D Can't wait to see how it all turns out. My wallet is ready.
