People are talking about placing these custom airfields in England- but you did notice that there is quite a handful of airfields in England marked in ED's map? As they are marked as permanent objects in the map, I suspect the will be very functional indeed, runways, parking spots etc. I would not worry. Even though the map will be "not detailed" I think it will be more than sufficient. I have full confidence in Racoon and his gang.

Enjoying the campaign so far- but seem stuck in mission 2 as well. INS alignment all good, all NAV data working, all comms working fine, using TCN to overfly Kutaise station then turning out 180, then northing.. No radio options, no messages. One thing I commented on the last screenshots of Normandy on facebook: At evening/night, the lights appear to be on in the cities. I have they will reconsider that- as I suspect few if any sane people would risk having lights on at night in 1944:D

Normandy and Typhoon would be a fantastic match up. Although the Tempest is a better variant, I think that the Typhoon is iconic to Overlord as the Spitfire is to the Battle of Britain. That it is dangerous, have drawbacks etc would just make it more interesting in my opinion:)

Good work. However, if I can make some constructive points; the wingmen voices in the first pack did not have a "radio" sound to them, making it sound more like they were sitting in the cockpit with you:) I just downloaded the ATC one. Will check soon:) Keep it up!

Why? I haven't run the default terrain since I have started DCS world years ago. Terrain mods aren't broken by updates, most of them are MP compatible (If not, easily fixed as mentioned above) and make the old Caucasus map bearable to watch. Waiting for 2.5 is unbearable as it takes forever. As to which mod is best, I still prefer Mustangs by far, due to the colours and that is looks good from all altutides and in all seasons. I still use my own mish-mash though.

Follow the above procedures (F11 to airfield, use moiuse to positiion, then look towards your AC on the tarmac and press Ctrl -F3. This will lock the cam to your AC.

In regards to oxygen supply, it seems very limited. Is there a way to change tanks? Considering that many mission lasted maybe up towards 2 hours at 20k feet. I haven't tested the exact lenght, but I noticed that I emptied rather rapidly.

Excellent to step forward, but the project is not mine. I am simply requesting that better men than me (with good accents and decent recording equipment) rise to the challenge:D

A while back some made the brilliant German radio mod for use with German WW2 aircraft. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=168359 Is anyone with the skill, the accent, and the initiative interested in having a look at the same for the Spitfire? The default, generic, American voice overs do little justice for the immerson in this wonderful bird:)
