ah, I see the error code for the right hand "immediate error". Your opencomposite.ini file should look like this. Put a " ; " in front of line 2 and line 7 ;Mirror mode outputs a shared texture for use by OBS plugin ;mirrorMode=disabled ;Performance stats enables writing of performance stats ; If enabled press F11 to start stats capture to file ; File is currently output to \Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Assetto Corsa Competizione\AC2\Binaries\Win64\teststats.csv ;performanceStats=disabled ;Hidden area mesh fix for G2, may work on other headsets enableHiddenMeshFix=enabled ;Use OpenXR layers to handle GUI overlays and HUDs, if set to false will render internally directly onto swap chain before submitting enableLayers=true also, the most current version of Toolkit is now at version "1.1.0" -

I just looked, and the openvr_api.dll file size for me is 1,369KB. As of April 25th download, (64bit): Via https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR/-/tree/openxr -
sorry, can't answer. I don't fly MP. I also use Mustang's terrain mod with this as well. (just FYI)

I also use this:

thanks Don

since it clobbered your tweak settings with the driver update, did you notice a difference? Did you fly with the new driver before resetting the tweaks? Just curious on the feedback. TIA

indeed, a great wish implemented! thanks ED!

cool, toolkit 1.1 is out. -
Hola group, I've been using the K-51 Collective ,TM/VPC Warbird, and MFG Crosswinds with the Apache. Love flying this bird so much, during the work week, I manage to sneak in at least a cold start, and a quick workout for George (as my CPG) every day. It's really the weekend where I can have the extended sessions. Just recently it dawned on me. There was my TM throttle, just sitting there lonely and cold... So I figured, what the heck, I could use it as an additional button box. Which it's doing just fine. Just wanted to share, for what it's worth... Now, going back to the Apache to ambush some baddies... -Jav p.s. (what's really cool, is that they build/upgrade these birds literally right down the road from me... )
-
I guess we'll find out if this is snake oil after the next nVidia driver update? Wouldn't it clobber the settings? Then we can try another comparison? (for the record, I'm a user of this tweak).
-
I just wanted to share an update. I've been using the K-51 collective now for a couple of years. It's a great controller! It's wonderful to have with the Huey, the Mi-8, and now my Apache. I can't imagine trying to fly a chopper without a collective. Thank you Mikhail!

without opening the thread, I knew exactly what the OP was referencing.

Please post your rig specs and any other relevant app/config info What's not clear; - did you remove your mods? - you performed a DCS repair/fix? - ok, remove those the fxo and metashaders, (yes, again). - screw the SteamVR settings via that link you mentioned. You're using OpenXR at this point... - follow the instructions to the "T", for the OpenXR mod (via that thread. The very first post. An absolute must). Without knowing your current system and config specs, hard to help further.
-
I'm hooked as well... each evening after work, I manage to sneak in a cold start and a mission. love stalking around at tree line level, and picking off the baddies. On Saturday afternoons, I give this bird a real nice workout too... DCS really put together a great mod here. (With OpenXR, etc, this really brings out the DCS VR capabilities. But there's another thread for that). Nice post OP, totally agree! -Jav

OpenXR and the Toolkit is the only way to fly VR now. I use both for DCS and M$F$. For that other WWII sim, I'm just using OpenXR (for now).
-
I've gone above, depending upon the map and mission. I went with the high VRAM because I use my gaming rig for VR, 90% of the time. I figured why not, max it out. Plus, I was lucky to score an FE when shortly after it came out. (I count my lucky stars for that, and being able to buy it at MSRP).

remove all mods. perform a DCS repair/fix. clean out the shaders & fxo. reinstall OpenXR per the instructions of that first post in that specific thread. let us know how it goes after...
