  1. Hi, On the HUD mission seems the problem is that the knob isnt turned far enough with a single trigger actuation, I added a 2nd one and then it turned the HUD off, like this: I'm still trying to figure out the INS one. Best regards and thank you for your MP missions Eduardo
  2. they work for me, just be sure to use as ground unit and not as static object maybe you are setting them up as static objects, the lights work when used as ground units type fortification

  6. There is no "historic mode", what the editor offers is an "historic filter" which filters out from the assets lists those that were not available on the mission’s date. That works only while editing a mission, later at run time you can run a script that spawns whetever aircraft you want.

  12. how can you be so sure that it is indeed a trojan? I have a hard time believing that a company like Heatblur would be distributing trojans within their games.

  14. I’don’t like to have tons of mods loaded in the Sim at all times, I prefer to use a Mod Manager and load only those Mods that actually benefit the aircraft/mission that I’m flying at any given time. This is what has worked for me much better than every other approach that I’ve tried.

  17. I can see all vehicles just fine, so your mission is not the cause of the issue. I don't see your problem because I don't have active the Mod that is causing the issue: I use a Mod Manager, that makes it a lot easier to find this kind of wayward Mods: hope you can find the Mod that is causing this.   18. That's just your read on the subject, to me the inclusion of a large part of the Massun's Assets Pack into the base game tells otherwise. Seems you are focusing mostly on flyable aircraft Mods, but actually the variety is much larger: weather Mods, AI units, scenery objects, naval units, etc. Wonder how do you know what ED appreciates and what not. ED does inform about upcoming changes, but the level of detail needed to ascertain if a User Mod will be affected or not, is understandably not there. Modders create workarounds, but only after the new version of DCS is in our hands ... do you really believe that ED would share a developer's version for the Modders Community? That is simply not realistic and I know of no game that does that. On my case, what I would like is for ED to not overdo their Intellectual Property protection, the extent they reached with the recent F-5E update is much more upsetting than any DCS update breaking some Mods, as it has made creating liveries for that aircraft practically impossible, which to me is a slap in the face for all the artists that donate their liveries to the Community. From now on I will refuse to purchase any new aircraft that does not allow for livery creation, and if that means I can no longer pre-purchase anything then so be it. Eduardo

Actually, ED did try to accommodate User Mods, back on DCS v1.5 (I think) they introduced the /Saved Games/Mods/ folder structure that mimicked the one DCS used for its program files, so that Mod Makers could stop adding files within the DCS program itself, vastly reducing the amount of problems when using Mods.

  21. I dont have the USA one, but the China Mod works fine on my latest DCS version. I can see the Mod enabled on the Module Manager: and I can see its assets on the ME: and its assets show up when I run the mission: Attach your dcs.log file to gather more clues as to what may be happening.
