  1. To me, the really funny part is to observe all the criticism when a developer, say ED, releases a new aircrat (Chinook) without finishing their previous ones (Mi-24P and AH-64) ... which I feel is totally deserved, while at the same time on this thread, other users clamor for exactly that: please Aerges, stop working on the Mirage F1 and deliver the F-104 right now ...
  2. Seems like a Mirage 3 stick
  3. well, we are free to spend our money on some other module, the important thing is that you do have a choice.
  4. this kind of trouble is best handled with a support ticket: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/
  5. Thank you so much, great video for those of us who couldn't be there ... I'm so looking forward to flying your Hun
  6. It has been that way for a long while. You can enable this option, so that you don't lose as much as 2 hours: well, actually it was your mistake, but the Interface of the ME could be more forgiving.
  7. Seems like a reasonable limit, taking into consideration that the maximum file size is 300 Mb.
  8. Thanks a lot for the Mod, tough I still need to test it in battle, so can't say much about its workings yet The zero is the one made by @DOL, but it seems that it's for a land based zero, so it can't really be used with your carrier, I placed them there just for the photo
  9. That's a truly nice recognition of Chuck's content, thank you. It would be great if his Guides for the Viggen and Tomcat could receive similar placement on those modules as well
  10. I don't remember any ED anouncement about that, so far it seems only the DCS Mission Editor is able to remember things like sound and image folder paths and little else. I wish saving user's choices were more widely supported
  11. +1 … or even better, have the Kneeboard "remember" its last position/size from one gaming session to the next.
  12. Come on, let the guy rest a while before asking for more of his time
  13. @Charly_Owl has just released his guide …. It’s totally worth the wait and with his usual very high quality and ability to clarify complicated subjects https://chucksguides.com/aircraft/dcs/f-4e/ 936 pages! Its longer than the real aircraft’s flight manual … sems I will have night reading for a long while, I was reading the chapter on Jester and añready learned a lot of tips that I didn’t knew. thanks a lot Chuck you have outdone yourself.
  14. if you haven’t done so yet, upgrade to dcs latest version, it includes this fix: Fixed. Undercarriage warning horn sound in improper conditions
  15. Thank you so much, I look forward to having these improvement onto the Sim, and my appreciation for not having encrypted 3D shapes . Best regards, Eduardo
  16. Once you find which drive is which, you can use an adapter like this: https://www.amazon.com/-/es/Carcasa-M-2-Adaptador-externo-compatible/dp/B08G14NBCS/ref=sr_1_5?__mk_es_US=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=2NEX6MSQQTCWT&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.d6x27WSU-J6jtpdkcQpfdDM8W2B-_vZaUOsAsWX0KW4upN7Z8TyZnQ09xFMjs7cp7SC1fyHJ8RCaI_aecDpKH7MmUwk4fAbhPjLN314AVTNhTMPk6FYXJDNW4k9P3mSMJkj8ZIA2mNVJuxpj6bUglsnjBoJjRANobsGqUrUjFMFUewwPkmSMNb00NpUgy72BDQIYfmro3w7NzCaGIBY7Ol9MVY61yavZ3WAS2y7QajE.tpK8D_Loao0iPjLNZTacU2FkFtFJxCex5u3zxqFRGIA&dib_tag=se&keywords=M2+drive+external+enclosure&qid=1751595019&sprefix=m2+drive+external+enclosure%2Caps%2C236&sr=8-5 to connect all three drives at the same time, so that you can copy your dcs onto the new drive with no need to re-download for a reinstall.
  17. That’s an exaggeration, as the map was redone for DCS 2.5 in a move that broke quite a lot of campaigns, but most users at the time were thrilled with the update. I flew on Caucasus for so long that nowadays I prefer to fly in any other Map but Caucasus. Currently I’m enjoying Sinai and Marianas.
  18. I doubt that this is just like an "error" to be fixed, its like wanting new tech on an older product. What ED could do is a remastered version of this Map using the newest map tech, like a Nevada 2.0, with a price that cover the man-hours needed for such a project. But I'm sure that ED has already considered a Nevada 2.0 and estimated just how many of its current customers would purchase it, on my own case I'm not sure if having better shadows, better mesh, and better night lighting would compensate the fact that it would not benefit any of the current campaigns that I own for Nevada, and the fact that my own missions would need to be redone if I wanted them on this new map. Most likely that's why ED has not come up with such a project yet: probably there are not enough people willing to pay the cost, they'd rather invest the $$$ on totally new maps, like Vietnam or Korea or even the Balkans.
  19. here is the license text from the other Bell helo in DCS: why would the OH-58 have a different license? O well, fortunately there is no shortage of DCS Modules available for me ... if ED just patched things with Razbam then I could indulge on this hobby a lot more.
  20. That reason seems odd to me, as the bell UH-1 is also from Textron and has no trouble taking part on sales ... and of course I don't expect it to be upgraded for free, so if ED charges for a Remastered version on a future date I have no issues with that and will gladly pay to upgrade (unless I can't use the ModelViewer with it, in that case I would keep flying the original version and not buy).
  21. Thank you, just got my User Files reminder too ... great feature ED, thanks for it.
  22. I don't know how to describe it (yaw or roll), but it looks like this on my headtracker:
  23. Hi Sydy, Thanks a lot for sharing this with the community, I will for sure fly it after I've finished my initial training with this warbird .. for now I've just added it to my DCS. Best regards, Eduardo
  24. OK, thanks for letting me know I'm finishing a mission series for the T-45 User Mod, and afterwards I will move on to the Corsair
  25. Yes, it still works ... but remember that it is a toogle: it pauses and the next time it un-pauses For example, here is the start of a mission, where I active pause while I brief the pilot: and after the briefing, I use the 816 command again, this time to un-pause: Check that your problem isn't with the conditions that you are demanding on the trigger.
