Then you don't have any file of that map, maps are not like aircraft modules ... the latter are divided in two parts: those that have purchased the aircraft have at /Mods the files like its cockpit, full flight model, and missions, those that have not purchased it still have files for it at /CoreMods, like the external shape, liveries, and a simplified flight model.

True, this happens exceptionally when a developer adds stuff to an existing Map .. as was the case with Kola on this last update.

Cold War Launch | DCS Summary | Heatblur Bundle

Great news, I look forward to your mission content for this new map ... also, I'd like to give you a very public and heartfelt thank you, for all the free missions that you've created for the Mossie: I have not flown all of them yet, but I do intend to visit each at least once. Thank you again -
Actually, you can keep playing DCS for as long as you want without upgrading your storage ... you just need to stop purchasing more Modules. But I can't really expect to purchase an additional Map and have the game using the same storage, can't I?
-
On my case, I'm satisfied with this Map .. of course one can ask for more detail and variety, but keep into account the cost: just a single airport for a well known civil flight sim can cost 20 dollars, so having this Map at around US$ 55 seems entirely reasonable to me.

No American aircrafts for the Russians and vice versa

looking forward to this information, as Recce is my weaker aspect on the Viggen I understand the appeal, but cant help to wonder how many users would go into the cost of printing and binding a book of almost 400 color pages. On my case, I will stick to reading the PDF version on my iPad.

I agree that DCS is a storage hog if you purchase a lot of Modules, however I have my doubts that just uninstalling liveries would free up enough storage space to be able to install a large Map like Germany's ... if you have to worry about 30-60 GB, the odds are that your drive is almost full anyway and you would be just postponing the inevitable storage upgrade. A year ago I upgraded my 1 TB DCS drive, into a 2 TB unit: .. however after just 12 months I'm seeing that this year I might need another upgrade, to a 4 TB one, so I can certainly agree with that DCS space needs can be daunting.

Actually it depends on user preference, as SP has a lot to offer, for example: I can fly in whatever Map I want, with whatever aircraft I want (even User Mod aircraft), at whatever local date and time I'm free to escape real life. And I can make my own missions, employing whatever User assets strike my fancy. For me, the only real disadvantage is that the AI opponent is not as skilled as a real human ... but it is still good enough to satisfy my main interest: study and understand my current aircraft of choice. However I understand that other users feel more attracted to the competitive side of DCS, and that's OK.

Check your attachments quota, probably you have just that amount left:

In the meantime, Users are building alternatives, thank God I'm not an MP fan

Big thank you, I was thinking on doing this too … but glad to use your work instead

How do I delete a unit template in the editor?
Rudel_chw replied to silent one's topic in DCS: Ka-50 Black Shark
back then DCS didnt exist yet, this thread refers to the mission editor of the stand alone Blackshark of 2009. -
Probably too modern for this map, but there is a user mod for the Tu-204/214 get it here:
-
Just wanted to add that the chance of track inaccuracies increases when speeding up, and dramatically so when exceeding 4x acceleration.

Probably you have the Historic Filter enabled on the Mission Editor, on my DCS it works as intended: -
No track file, hard to pinpoint a cause without it, maybe you have negative G for too long? Check this video:
-
Or maybe a surprisingly high proportion of DCS users purchased it on day one, like us. Seems this map will be a popular one
-
I also got it downloaded at last ... pity that it seems no single aircraft or helo module has bothered to include at least quick missions for this new Map now I'm exploring it a bit:
-
According to this, I need to download just 4 GB more, so I chose to wait a bit more: ... pity that I can´t keep flying DCS while it updates
-
because you could simply make a copy of the files and run DCS on another machine. Maybe you want a return to the old copy protection software that ED used to employ? Same speeds here, but I won't cancel as I'm afraid that re-starting would not improve the download speed.

Hello, I've updated the Templates for the Blue Coalition airbases, so they now work as intended on DCS 2.9 ... I will update the ones for the Red Coalition over the next few days. Eduardo

Will there be any updates to Nedava ?
Rudel_chw replied to Raviar's topic in DCS: Nevada Test and Training Range
My personal belief is that this issue is being blown out of proportion, don't you have a more meaningful complaint with the Nevada Map? something that actually can impact gameplay? -
I like the monthly updates, for me it is much better than having them more frequently as I enjoy stability the most.
