No change, same error. It downloads and then fails to unpack Normandy.surface 5 due to "not enough disk space". Im going to try and move the install to my C drive (where my 1.5 installation is) and see if i have any luck there.

To add, I installed the WWII assets after i had this problem and it installed fine, no issues. So it seems that this one file just doesn't like to get unpacked. Can anyone help?

Hi guys, Trying to download and I complete the torrent download (1907mb I believe) and it hangs on unpacking and then closes and starts re-downloading again via http. I will attach the log. Strangely its saying there is not enough disk space but I have a 1.4tb hdd so i don't know where it gets that idea from. I've also tried the http download which took all day and then once completed and goes to unpack says the servers are busy please try again later. Any help would be appreciated. autoupdate_log.txt

Hey guys After a very long dogfight with a Dora which led to the aircraft being riddled with bullets from nose to tail, wingtip to wingtip. It got me wondering. Does the AI aircraft have any damage modelling besides visuals? Or is it a bit of a life bar case like the ground units. It seems that no matter how damaged the enemy is they can still accelerate, turn and climb etc the exact same as a fresh non damaged aircraft.

To be able to fly the Su-27 comfortably, one must master the art of trimming. The Su-27 reacts strongly to speed changes and generally (for me) requires a lot of nose down trim, but as your speed changes, where your trim needs to be changes alot more compared to say the F-15. But once you got the trim sorted she flies like a dream. -
Hi guys. Im making a few single player missions for CA basically exploring the boundaries of what can be done to make some good missions for CA from a vehicle perspective (not as tactical commander). My question is: Is there a way to make the player start in a vehicle? Currently I am restricting the player to be only able to drive the vehicle I want them to and tell them what vehicle and where they are located in the mission briefing, this is followed by a simple F10 command to allow the mission to then proceed (preventing bad stuff happening to the player). Alternatively is there a way to force pause the game until it detects that the player is in X vehicle?

Hi guys, i recently got hold of Track IR and MY LORD is it good! Im gradually working on trying to get a good all-round profile for all my games and modules. While i realise it is largely a preference thing, is there any advice anyone can give me to help create one, I'm not entirely sure whats best for flight sims.

So very excited for EDGE. can't wait till it comes out :) Its been mentioned before, but we totally need a video of flying into a tree and seeing the plane break up and crash :D ( I do understand however that if it hasn't been coded yet then their is no point in making one yet)

I was so caught up catching up on all the pre-announcement hype that I almost missed the actual announcement. (Was wondering why the Februamarch update went from ~300 people to 50 in a second) Great stuff guys, looking forward to the release, definitely getting this one :D :D :D -

:doh: :doh: :doh: So I dont know whos method worked however they probably helped both but it is now working. As for the facepalms the reason it wasn't working.........it had no payload. Why you may ask? Early on when the issue occurred I tried changing the role do one that had attack group only to find that the F-117 didnt have another role and I forgot that it wipes the payload when it auto-changes to another plane. None the less its working like a charm now, the F-117 flies in, the Sa-6s don't see him, he drops his bomb and boom, done. Thanks for the help guys.

MTrenda do you care to send us the mission file please? I reckon I'll understand what you mean better by seeing the way you have set up.

I actually have no waypoints set, he just orbits, attacks and then weapons hold and RTBs, it worked for the other aircrafts in the mission, maybe I'll have to add waypoints then. I found another thread where they discuss this so I'm trying what they said and will see if it works. It appears though that bombing and attack map object aren't very reliable from the various threads on the issue.

I use stop condition to stop the orbit and the same flag to activate the strike. It works fine with every other aircraft, just not the F-117, I have noticed that bombing and attack map object can be fairly unreliable but with the F-117 you dont have any other option.

So in my mission I have an F-117a orbiting waiting for the comman to drop some GBUs on a command and control bunker. When I give the order for him to attack all he does is increase speed, decrease altitude and then RTB. I've tried both attack map object and bombing but neither get it to work. I wish there was an option to attack group or unit for pinpoint strike roles. Can anyone shed some light on what I can do to fix this issue.

I can see people jumping for joy when they finally get into the air without crashing, happily rocketing towards their enemy when suddenly........BOOM........ their plane just explodes, then the rage, then the respawn and try it all over again. The fun of flying a explosive piece of wood with a fuel mixture that can explode from the smallest of issues.
