  2. Hello:) did you try to make a dogfight Mig15 versus Mig15,By this way you could learn where the Mig15 is weak and adapt your tactics on Mig19 maybe.Remember that AI makes every time the same tactics
  3. To get at time when they are ready to fly,before them;Make a mission with F10 menu to make start the AI. And select AI with"not controled" ticked.By this way you will be able to choose the moment when AI start.
  4. i don't know if these videos could be useful?But you could see what about the boom and zoom;And first be patient,the AI is not so good and always do same moves to follow it. Do like the AI does. Sorry i don't have the Mig 19
  5. There is a simple way to change how start the engines in DCS between coldstar or auto start; Edit your mission,with the editor. Why do you not do that?i'm talking about only for mentioned missions: " Every single SP mission I get for the Hornet including paid DLC campaigns feature hot starts for the aircraft". I don't think "WTF"could change anything.

Hello:) First when wind is crossing the runway take off ,you have to counter it by pushing the stick to the side from where comes the wind,and maintain it while taking off(same is due at landing).This point is mandatory,it is named "stick in the wind". Second you don't need all the power to take off with any warbird;apart if you are at MTOW(maximun take off weight).however if the runway is long enough even at MTOW you may use this way. Lock the tail wheel if it's able. Thus push the throttle slowly and the stick forward to lift the tail,now you have a better yaw control.Maintain the line straight ahead.Check out your speed upto the take off speed pointed in the manual.You will see that 3/4 power is enough. The trick is to avoid a brutal torque. And of course practice a bit is advised. Last word about the stick pushed right or left,this way is only done to counter the crossing wind.In not any case is due to counter the torque as i can read sometimes on the forum. The torque is counter acted by using trim and rudder.

  8. A video is better than any explanation i suppose;) Take a look at this one and find a bug please? There is no tricks or cheat it's the game pure:) I think you have to search on an other way to find a solution. the game is OK. PS: if i'm able to do that ,why somebody else could not do same?

Sorry to point that but you are on a wrong way with the stick full right or so.The stick have to be still centered if the wind is calm or coming front with not any crossing;using the stick to counter the wind crossing is the only moment where you push it right or left at the take off.As you have to do it when landing. For take off properly. you have to lift the tail first by rolling slowly and progressive.The help is provided with locking the tail wheel. Once done (tail lifted)you will be able to control your line with the rudder.No brakes only pedals and maintain stick pushed forward upto the take off speed. There is no bug at all.
  10. BF109 take off Nothing weird. I did an attempt today and take off working fine. Did not use brakes,just push the rudder to the right a bit. I wonder how you manage your take off with taildraggers and therefore with the BF109? 1-is it that you let rolling three points,and pull stick at the take off speed? 2-is it that you begin to roll push the stick forward upto get the tail lifted,and at this moment push slightly the throttle upto the take off speed? If you are doing the first exemple your rudder will still with not any efficiency. i could make a video to show you the stuff if you are in doubt with what i said.

Now to find players it's a question of passion to the warbirds i think. The most of time players like something more easy to manage,because of peripherics in use.You need a perfectly sensitive joystick.Maybe it's the problem. So if you want to create a team around the P47D i'm ready to be a part of it:)

  16. practice the spitfire hello :=)i don't know if it could be usefull with your problem?however if you take attention on needles position while keeping an eye outside to check out your airplane position ,it could be done.The only way to fly an aerodyne aircraft or helo;is to take landmarks.The beginning seems always complicated as any other system.Check out those two videos and give some attempt around the apron of batumi airfield while reproducing the flight. practice is your friend. if you need something else more let me know.

Hey ,good one "CHPL".you are right.:thumbup: The most of time ,noone among all the apprentices pilots are thinking about the weight.(MTOW) When you decide to go confront the death,with these machines killer of newbies,you must learn how to manage their performances. The secret is in the weight you will choose for taking off.:smilewink: First part which have to be considered is quantity of fuel to reach the combat zone,stay around a little without hit the ground or might be shotdown by an deadly shot.And if we are lucky ,to hope that it remains enough fuel to succeed a return to base. Thus it seems that you have to know their consumption per hour. Well i already hear someone saying it's obvious.:music_whistling: However the most of times noone consider this stuff is important. Players put the full fuel and go away. With fuel the weight of helo will change and the driving will be different for each load weight. You will tell me that without fuel it doesn't work.OK.:doh: But to kill something more big than a rat,you need heavy guns.I insist on "heavy". Add weight of rockets ,bullets,machine gun,fuel,crew members...and so. Once done take a look on the MTOW of your war machine. Also take a look on performances at heavy weight and light weight. Now you are front of a choice.:unsure: A big killer machine ,like you have seen in all the stupid movies, which will throw you directly to the cimetery without have seen anything. Or. A good setting taking in count all features usefull in order to learn something from this to become less idiot if there be a next time. Thus before to want becoming the new"kid on the block"you have to practice a several settings.At least the one you choose for your missions. Once more the airplanes jets fighters are a wrong exemple;With their weight/power equal to 1 and more. To throw a pebble far away enough you need only force a little.Nothing magical. Isn't it?

  21. As for the jets airplanes fighters they don't fly anyway it's just something balistic with a huge kick in the ass. same way that to making fly a pebble.:music_whistling:
  22. The fact is simple if i may add my two cent?:smilewink: The most of people think that an helicopter fly like a plane because of several references coming from the planes world. However a fundamental difference exists that you cannot bypass. On a plane you pilot the entire of cellule(body) by doing moving ailerons. On an helicopter you pilot the main rotor by changing angles of blades.The cellule (body)is suspended at the rotor. On another way to say it's the main rotor that brings the cellule. You have to respect the helicopter rules to pilot it and the most of time forget all that you know about the planes. Forget also all stupids assertions creeping around the web. Before all of that you have to understand the huge difference between planes and helos.:detective: To pilot an helicopter you have only to think of piloting the main rotor.
